Hi, John with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at some of the features and how to install Draw-Tite Hidden Hitch Class III Receiver Hitch on our 2018 Audi Q5. Now, the number one question that we get with the Audis and the trailer hitches is: Will the kick sensors still work I've just unlocked it. Yes, the sensor still works, regardless if you have the receiver tube installed in the bumper or not. The best feature of this hitch that I think is that when you are done towing, or done biking, or done with your cargo rack, anything that you would use this hitch for and you don't want it on the vehicle anymore, it comes right off. And I am a sucker for blow-molded cases. more

Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch with Towing Kit Installation - 2018 Audi Q5- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Stealth Hitch hitch receiver with the tow kit on a 2018 Audi Q5. Now, this is what your hitch looks like installed on your Audi, and you're probably saying, "Well, where is it" And the great part about the Stealth Hitch is it lives up to the name Stealth because when you're not using it, you don't have to have your receiver or your ball mount in place, and that's gonna make it nice and easy, whenever you're ready to go, to take that portion, slide it up, and have it ready to go. Now, the tow kit comes with this two-inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be really nice for your cargo carriers or bike racks. And all of your components are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now, the hitch does not come with one. A lot of times, your accessories will come with one, but if you wanna pick up a locking version for that, we have those available as well. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Stealth Hitch Rack Receiver on a 2018 Audi Q5. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and you're probably wondering well where is it, and that's why it has the name Stealth Hitch because it's gonna keep your Audi looking nice and clean and OEM and still have that nice luxury appearance until you need to use your two inch rack receiver. And that way, when you wanna load up your cargo carriers or bike racks you can just pop that into place and you're ready to go. Now this can only be used with bike racks and cargo carriers or other suspended accessories. This is not meant for a ball mount or towing. And if you are planning on towing your trailer I highly recommend picking up the towing kit as it'll come with a seven pole and four pole. more

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2018 Audi Q5. Here on top with have the Curt, part number C13331. Here on the bottom we have the Draw-Tite, part number 76183.One of the first differences between these that we notice is that on our Draw-Tite, you'll notice that the center here, is going to be a solid plate. It's also a solid plate on the back. It's got nice welds in it. You'll notice on the Curt, it doesn't have that. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Audi Q5- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Audi Q5, you're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to show you how to install, the Draw-Tite Class 3 Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76183.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see it's going to have a reinforced collar, give you a little bit extra stability on the receiver tube. It's got a nice rounded edge, so it fits with the contour of the vehicle. You can see the hitch does not stick out past of the outer edge of our bumper fascia. So we're not going to have to worry about hitting our legs or our shins on it when loading and unloading the back of the vehicle.It's going to have a nice black powder coat finish to resist any rust or corrosion. It's going to be a Class 3 hitch, it's going to be 2" by 2". more

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2018 Audi Q5- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Audi Q5, we're gonna be taking a look at showing you how to install the Curt custom-fit class-three trailer hitch receiver, part number C13331.Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. What I really like about this is the cross tube's gonna be completely hidden and all we're gonna see is the receiver tube sticking out, so it's not gonna take away from the looks of our Audi. It is a class three hitch, which means it's gonna give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and as we can see it has a nice reinforced collar, not only giving it added strength, but a nice finished look.Now right here, we're gonna have our hitch pinhole and it's gonna use a standard 5/8 pinning clip. Now, it doesn't come with one but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3 and as we can see, on both sides we're gonna have plenty of room whether you use a standard pin and clip or if you choose to get a locking pin and clip or even an anti-rattle device.So the safety chain connection points, it's gonna be a loop style welded to the bottom, and as you can see we're not gonna have any trouble getting most sized hooks on or off since there's plenty of room in here.Our hitch is gonna have a 750 pound tongue weight, along with a 5000 pound gross trailer weight rating. Now I do want to mention, you always want to double check the owner's manual of your Q5 to make sure you don't exceed the rating of your car.Now I'd like to give you a few measurements to help you in decided for accessories for your new hitch, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or even a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper, it's gonna be right about two and a half inches. more
