Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ram 3500- Video
Today in our 2016 Ram 3500 we will be taking a look at and installing the Draw-tite 5th wheel gooseneck wiring harness 7 pole, part number 20110. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. As you can see it's got a nice weather tight cover that's going to cover up our plug. It does come with a 7 1/2 foot cable so you can run this pretty much any place you'd like on the inside of your bed depending on your needs. You are going to be able to retain your factory set 7 pole plug so you have use of the one on your rear bumper and you also have the one up inside your bed for your gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer. Now lets go ahead and show you how to install it. Let's look at what our kits going to consist of; it's going to be our harness that's going to T into our factory harness, our 7 pole plug, some zip ties, some self taping screws and what we are going to need to install it is a 2 inch hole saw, a quarter inch drill driver, a file, and a pair of side cutters to cut off the excess from our zip ties.
