Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Ram 2500- Video
Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite fifth wheel and gooseneck wiring harness on our 2019 Ram 2500. Now, our Draw-Tite is going to give us a seven-way connector in the bed of our truck, so whenever we hook up our gooseneck, it's going to prevent us from having to drape the cord over the tailgate and go to the bumper. Because a lot of times, we don't even have that much room or that long of wiring, to where it can come back over and go all the way over to the passenger side, where our factory wiring is. But this way, it's just really convenient, really easy because whenever we hook up, we can simply just plug in our wiring, close the tailgate, and we're ready to go. more

Bargman Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Ram 2500- Video
Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Bargman fifth wheel and gooseneck wiring harness on our 2019 Ram 2500.Now having a wiring harness inside the bed of your truck, it's going to be a lot nicer than having to worry about draping it over the tailgate and hooking into the bumper.Whenever we have a Gooseneck or a Fifth Wheel, or if you potentially have an in bed camper, it's going to be a lot easier to hook up as well, because let's face it.Once we get our Fifth Wheel or Gooseneck hooked up, we don't want to have to worry about draping the cord over the tailgate, removing the tailgate, any of that.Sometimes we're not going to be able to reach all the way back. So this way it's going to prevent us from having to do that and still be a lot easier to hook up.Our wiring is going to be just like the one at the back of our bumper, giving us all seven functions.When we have everything hooked up, like our tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, our 12 volt power source and our electric brake signal.It's also going to have this spring loaded door. So I'm going to make sure, dirt debris or anything else that we have in our bed won't get inside.But what I really like about it is you can see at the bottom here, there's a very small notch and that's in case there is a lot of water that gets back here. Even with the door closed, it's going to be able to drain out and not cause a lot of corrosion inside.Now, our wiring is going to be molded directly on to the connector here. So we're not going to have to worry about too many connection points, getting any kind of dirt debris or corrosion inside of it.This is going to have a 90 degree on the back. So it's going to work really well in those really tight spots. more
