Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2017 Ram 2500 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness, part number 41157. Here's what our plug looks like fully installed. It's going to give us a 7-way in the back of our bed. That way if we're towing with a gooseneck or fifth wheel trailer we'll have our connector right here. It has a nice spring loaded hinge as well as a gasket inside to help keep out moisture and cut down on corrosion. Even though we have this 7-way mounted in the bed of our truck, this isn't going to interfere with the operation of our factory 7-way. We're still going to be able to come to the back of our truck at the bumper and still be able to use that connector even though we have one here as well. Our cover is made of a durable ABS plastic so it is going to be weather resistant. more
