Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2012 Ram 2500, we're gonna be showing you how to install the CURT in-bed Gooseneck and 5th Wheel Hitch Trailer Wiring. But, before we get to that, why don't we check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. Whenever you are hooked up to your trailer, whether it be a gooseneck or a 5th wheel, you're gonna need a way to power up all the lights and everything on it, right So you take your connector plug and you got a couple of options. One of 'em` being, you can drape it over your tailgate and plug it down into your bumper connector. Which does it work, sure. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2012 Ram 2500, we'll be installing the Bargman Fifth Wheel Gooseneck, 90 Degree Wiring Harness, Part number 50-97-410. Now to begin our install, we're going to go ahead and lower and remove the spare tire. This will give us more working room underneath. Now with our spare tire out of the way, we're going to go ahead and get into the back of the truck and find a suitable mounting location for our new seven pole connector. Now here on the driver's side we're going to mount the seven pole connector. When you look underneath the vehicle, you'll notice here at the bed seam there are two layers of sheet metal to go through on each side, so if you don't want to go through two layers of sheet metal, you have to move up here to the flat area, which is also where we're going to go. We're going to use our 1/4" pilot bit to make our hole. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2012 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 Series, we'll be installing the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel and Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with a 7-Pole Plug. Part Number 41157. We're going to need to go ahead and choose a location to mount our 7-way plug. Somewhere here looks pretty good. Go ahead and take our hole saw. Now that we have our hole in the bed, we're going to go ahead and take this in to the wiring harness and feed it up into the bed. more
