Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best custom fit vehicle wiring options for your 2013 Cadillac SRX. To determine which wiring harness you're going to need, you're going to need to know if your SRX has the tow package or not. Now most likely it will, and there's going to be a connector behind the bumper in the center that our new harness is going to plug directly into.Here we have our Tekonsha, which is going to plug directly into the factory tow package. It's going to be an extremely easy connection. We're just going to have to take the cover off and plug our new wiring harness in, and then take the zip ties and tie up the excess wire. It's going to provide us with a four-pole flat trailer connector, giving us our taillights, turn signals, and our brake lights. more

Today on our 2013 Cadillac SRX. We're going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness with 4 fold flat trailer connector. Part number 56096. This is what it looks like once it's installed. This is going to be a very simple install. It's going to plug into a factory plug that already on the back side of your bumper. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Cadillac SRX 118259

Today on our 2013 Cadillac SRX we're going to be installing the Tow Ready T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package Vehicles, part number 118259. We'll begin here at the rear of the vehicle where we're going to need to remove this lower panel here. To do this, we'll remove the two screws using our Phillips head screwdriver. We'll then take the panel and bend it downward and work the tabs from the bumper fascia. The factory plug that we'll tying in with is located right here. We're going to go ahead and remove the tab that holds it to the bumper structure just to make things a little bit easier and so that we can see things a little bit more. We'll need to remove this gray cap here; to do this we'll lift up on the locking tab and simply pull downward. more
