Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2023 Ford Edge- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Ford Edge and we're gonna be taking a look at the CURT four-pole trailer wiring harness. Adding a four-pole trailer wiring harness to the back of your Edge, is gonna allow you to safely transfer the four-pole signals to your trailer. And that is going to be, the four-pole itself, is going to be a ground wire, your tail lights or your running lights, and then your stop and turns. So your left turn, right turn, and then combined signal to make your stop signal. This kit is gonna have a control module, which is designed to protect the vehicle's lights, as well as the trailer lights, if there are ever any problems on either one of them. more

Adding trailer wiring harness to any vehicle that has a hitch is a great idea and the CX-90 is no different. And the reason being is, you may be using this just for a bike rack or cargo carrier, but if you ever have to pull a small trailer for whatever reason, you wanna be able to hook up to it and be legal and safe. And that's what this is going to do. It's gonna transmit the light signals from your running lights, your turn signals and brake lights to the lights on your trailer. Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Installation - 2023 Dodge Hornet- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look and installing the Curt universal four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2023 Dodge Hornet. If you have a hitch on your Hornet, or if you ever plan on pulling a trailer, I highly recommend picking up four-pole trailer wiring. Even if you don't plan on pulling anything, it's really nice to be able to have this here just in case, maybe you move a little utility trailer, whatever it may be, you'll be able to get those light functions working, keeping you safe and legal, and the way this works, you'll have your four-pole plug that can live here with the dust cap on your hitch, and you'll just plug that into the trailer whenever you're ready to go, but this ties into your factory light signals, so you're gonna get that running light, turn signal, and brake light. Now this system is fuse-protected, as well as module-protected, so even though you're tying into your factory taillights, you don't really have to worry too much about it causing any issues long-term, and this is a universal kit, meaning, we're gonna be quick-splicing into some of those connections, which, you don't have to be a wiring guru to do. It's pretty straightforward. You are gonna need to run a power wire underneath the vehicle up to the battery, which can get a little bit tricky, but, honestly, I think that's the hardest part. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Tekonsha T1 four-Pole trailer wiring harness on a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. If you have a hitch on your Jeep, it's worthwhile picking up a four-pole trailer wiring harness. And the reason being, you may not tow a trailer that often, but if you have a hitch and the availability to put a ball mount on, it's nice to be able to tow a small utility trailer and in our neighbor's case, a small boat trailer. And in order to do that legally and safely, you're gonna need to have the lights on the trailer work and the four-pole end on our Tekonsha is gonna be a great way to do that. Now this is a super easy installation. Really all it just involves is taking out the driver's side taillight, plugging it in, and then routing your four pole wherever you need. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT four-pole wiring harness on your 2023 Mazda CX30. In order to use your wiring for this kit, all you have to do is open up the rear hatch, lift up your storage panel, pull your wiring out, and run it down to your trailer. And when you close your rear hatch, you just want to be sure to keep it far enough away from this latch so that it doesn't make contact with it. The weather seal here will protect the wiring and won't cause any damage, but when you get ready to hook up to a trailer, then your wiring's right here, you can connect to the trailer and it's gonna make you safe and legal when traveling down the road. Your four-pole wiring harness is gonna be your most common out on the road. more

Adding four-pole trailer wiring to any hitch install or if you already have a hitch installed on your vehicle, it's worth picking one of these up because you may not tow trailers a lot, but if you do have to get maybe something to move or just pull a small utility trailer, you're gonna need this to have light signals on that trailer to keep you safe and legal. And the way this works, it ties in directly to your turn signals, running lights and brake lights from your tail lights and just tease into it. And that way you don't have to cut or splice any of your factory wiring, and this is all module protected as well. T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Tekonsha T-One four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Adding a four-pole trailer wiring harness is a great option or addition to adding a hitch on your vehicle, and that way if, for whatever reason, you may have to pull a trailer, you'll at least have the wiring ready for that situation. If you're planning on pulling a trailer, you're gonna wanna pick this up regardless. It's a nice easy installation because it ties in directly to your factory taillight plugs using OEM style and the great part too, this is module protected, as well as inline fuse protected. So you don't ever have to worry about any back feed or any electrical mishaps frying your factory electronics. It's very simple. more

Before we do that though, let's take a minute, check it out and make sure it's gonna work for you. So if you plan on pulling a trailer around, or even have an accessory that has lights on it, you're gonna need a way to power those lights up, that way, not only when you have your trailer, you're safe, but legal as well. And that's where a wiring kit like this is gonna come into play. And one of the cool things about this setup, you can have it stored inside, or you can have it mounted down by your hitch on the outside of the vehicle. Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2022 Ford Transit T250- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Ford Transit T250 van and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Four-pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Adding a four-pole trailer wiring harness to your van is gonna allow you to pull trailers with four poles on them. This wiring's gonna give you your stop and turn signals, your running lights, and then the last, the fourth pole is going to be your ground signal. If you need to pull trailers with seven poles on 'em, then you can pick up the ETBC7 kit. You'll still have to install this kit because the fourth pole will plug right into the ETBC7 and then you'll just have to run the last three wires, which would complete your seven pole in addition to your four pole. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and later be showing you how to install this CURT 4-pole Wiring Harness on our 2014 BMW 3 Series. This is a universal kit, which I would normally stray away from just because they can be more involved and it's designed to work on really any vehicle. But in the case of this 3 Series here today, the installation was surprisingly smooth because the battery's in the back of the vehicle, you don't have to run much wiring and everything's very accessible for a clean install. So that's a big benefit. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'mma show you how to install the CURT seven-pole wiring harness. Adding a seven-pole wiring harness to your vehicle is gonna allow you to safely pull either four-pole trailers or seven-pole trailers. You just have to get an adapter if you're wanting to pull a four-pole trailer. But having the seven-pole on here is gonna allow you to pull those trailers with brakes, auxiliary batteries, and reverse lockouts. Your four-pole plug is where you're gonna get those other four functions from, and that is your left and right turn. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness on our 2015 Ram 1500. So this is going to be an in-bed solution for our 7-way wiring plug on our Ram 1500. So if we're towing a gooseneck or a 5th wheel trailer, we can have all of the proper signals and functions of that wiring in the bed. This is gonna come with 10 feet of wire, so plenty to get you from the bumper where your 7-way is up inside the bed of your truck. Now, it will require drilling a small hole in the bed of your truck, but that part's really not too bad, because the rest of it is just a plug and play connection, so it's really straightforward. more
