Today on our 2010 Subaru Impreza, we'll be looking at our best hitch options. Now, I just want to point out, the two hitches that we're looking at here today are for the Impreza hatchback models. If you have a sedan, it uses different hitches, as well as the WRX and STI models. They have different hitches as well. Now, the two hitches that we have here today, from the top, we have a Curt Class 1, part number C11286. On the bottom, we have a Draw-Tite Class 1, part number 24886. You may notice that the Curt has an angled construction going up like this. more

Next, well go ahead and give you some measurements thatll help you out in selecting some accessories such as a cargo carrier or a bicycle rack. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the edge of the bumper is going to be 3 inches and from the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be 10-1/2 inches. Now, well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we need to do is go ahead and lower the exhaust. more
