etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 GMC Terrain

Speaker 1: Here on this 2014 GMC Terrain, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com Class 3 trailer hitch receiver, part number E98865. Here's what your hitch looks like installed. First thing you'll notice about the hitch, is how it's completely hidden behind our fascia. The only part that's visible is the center section here and our bumper cut out.One of the nice features about this hitch is that it has a nice carbide powder coat finish, which is very appealing to look at, and is also very rust, corrosion, and scratch resistant. As you can see here, I'll take a key to it, rub against it, doesn't even do anything to the hitch. On the side of our receiver, you'll find the industry standard, 5/8th of an inch diameter hitch pin hole, to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories. more

You won't have to worry about any interference, really. On the side of our receiver, you'll find two pinholes, the larger diameter one, closest to the front of the vehicle, that's our industry standard 5/8" diameter hitch pinhole, secure any of our hitch mounted accessories. You can pick up a pin and clip separately on our website, as part number PC3.Closer to the rear, that is a J-pin stabilization hole. What that does is take away the annoying shake, play and rattle out of what is inserted in your receiver. more
