Today on our 1996 GMC Savan Van, we're going to install the car hitch part number 13040. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is four inches. From the top of the receiving tube to the ground is 12-3/4 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as the drawbar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. Now let's go ahead with the installation. more
