Ryan: Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our best trailer hitch options for a 2011 to 2019 Ford Fiesta. Here on top we're gonna have the class one Draw-Tite hitch, and below it we're gonna have the class one Curt hitch.Now, one of the major differences I found between the two hitches is their weight capacity. The Draw-Tite's weight capacity is gonna be a little bit higher. It's going to have a 2,000 pound maximum of gross trailer weight rating and a 200 pound maximum tongue weight rating, while the Curt hitch is gonna offer a 150 pound maximum tongue weight rating and a 1,500 pound gross trailer weight rating.So what that means is our Draw-Tite is going to be able to handle a little more weight. So it could mean the difference of getting an extra bike or two on our bike rack or put in an extra couple of bags on our cargo carrier or even put one or two more things on our small trailer.Another notable difference I found is in the hitch's appearance. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Ford Fiesta - Curt- Video
Today on our 2013 Ford Fiesta, we'll be installing the CURT Hitch, part number C11067. This is what our hitch'll look like once it's installed. Next, I'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist your selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 4 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 10-1/2 inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. Now we'll go ahead with installation. First we'll go ahead and point out our attachment points here on the driver's side. more
