Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Pollack 7-way in bed wiring for gooseneck and fifth wheels on a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500. And attaching your fifth wheel or your gooseneck trailer. You do need to plug it into your 7-way just so you get your lights as well as your brakes. But a lot of times you're having to drape that wire over the tailgate. So having this in the bed keeps it nice and protected and clean, easily able to plug in as well and maintain all your factory functions. Now, it just ties into your factory connector. more

We're not going to have to worry about taking the cable and running it over top of our tailgate to try and get it into our bumper, potentially causing damage to our tailgate.It's going to make it a lot easier. Part number C56000.So here's what our wiring looks like once it's installed. Now it's gonna provide us a seven way connector inside of our bed. Making connecting to our 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer that much easier. It's gonna have a nice spring loaded door. So we're not gonna have to worry about losing the cap or anything like that. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Today on this 2015 Chevrolet Silvarado 3500 crew cab, we're going to install part number 41157. This is the Hopkins endurance fifth wheel and gooseneck 90-degree wiring harness with a seven pole plug. First off, we need to find our location for a seven-pole connector. This is largely personal choice, but there's a nice open spot behind the inaudible 00:24 pocket in this area right here, so we're going to mount ours right here. Go ahead and center it up. Maybe line it with this plug right here. more
