Today on this 2004 Chevrolet Express Van, we're going to show you part number 41521. This is the Drawtite Maxi Loader 2 Inch Class 3 Receiver Hitch. All right first off we have a nice rounded collar reinforcement around the hitch. This is our 2 inch receiver right here. Located here in this plate is our hooks for our safety chains and it goes to conventional squared stock tubing across to both sides that reach up towards the side brackets and go up to your frame. Today on our 2004 Chevrolet Express van, we're going to be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13040. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead a couple of measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hold to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 4-1/2 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 17 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. We're going to go ahead and start here underneath our vehicle. This particular vehicle has already had the spare tire take down, it's no longer present. more
