Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2017 Nissan Murano, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Adding a 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness to the back of your Murano is gonna allow you to safely transfer the lighting signals from your Murano to your trailer to let others know what your intentions are when you're pulling that trailer. This kit will give you your left turn signal, your right turn signal. It will combine those signals to give you your stop signal. It'll have your running lights and then the fourth wire on your 4-Pole is going to be your ground so that the system works properly. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Nissan Murano we're going to be taking a look at the best vehicle wiring options. Now these are going to be our two wiring options here. Here on your left side you have the Tekonsha, part number 118660. Here on your right side we're going to have to CURT, part number 56267. Both are going to have converter boxes, so it doesn't draw any power from your taillights. However, it's going to protect your vehicle from any backfeed from your trailer if your trailer has any wiring problems.Now the only differences we're going to have between these two wiring harnesses is your Tekonsha is going to have a 4.2 amp per circuit for your stop and turn and 7.5 amp per circuit for your taillights, whereas your CURT is going to have 3.0 amps for your stop and turn and 6.0 amps per circuit for your taillights. more
