Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com.Today on our 2013 Honda Civic, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness. Our wiring is going to provide us with the necessary lighting functions when we're towing a trailer, to not only remain safe but illegal. It's going to give us our brake lights, our running lights, and both left and right turn signals.It's going to have a built-in rubber dust cap, which is going to help protect our terminals from any type of corrosion. Now I do recommend using some dielectric grease every now and again, just to go that extra mile to keep them protected. Now our wiring is going to have six amps per circuit for our tail lights, and three amps per circuit for our stop and turn lights. What that means is that's going to provide us with plenty of power to run any type of light, whether it be an incandescent or an LED.Now one of the things I really like about this wiring, is that it's going to use a module box. more

Now the wiring harnesses we're talking about today are going to be custom fit vehicle wiring harnesses. These are designed to work with the sedan and coupe Civic models that are non-SI and non-hybrid. If you have an SI or a hybrid model, you'll need one of the hard wire kits. If you have one of the standard models, these custom fit vehicle wiring harnesses are going to work great. For the sedan we have CURT, part number C56011, and from Tekonsha, 118420.Now both of our wiring harnesses offer a four-pole flat trailer connector. more
