Today in our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at installing the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness for factory total package four flat pole driller connection, part number C55384. Here it is installed. It's a nice forward flat if you're going to tow your trailer and you don't have to do any cutting on your wiring harness. It's going to plug in between your factor 7-way connector. Now, on this vehicle, we don't have one, but if you did, you'd have your 7-way up here and you'd have a forward flat down here. Now let's go ahead and show you how to install it. more

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be installing the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel and Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with a 7-Pole Plug, part number 41157. Now we're going to figure out exactly where we want to drill our hole for this one. We'll going to line it up somewhere in there. Go ahead and put a pilot bit. Then go ahead and step up to our hole saw. We're using a 2-1/8. Go ahead and vacuum up all of our shavings real quick. Now we're going to take this end of our wiring harness, feed it up from the underside, and come out our hole we just drilled. more

Today on this 2009 Chevrolet Silverado we are going to be installing the replacement Twist-In 7-Way Connector, part number PK11916. If we look back here at the rear of the vehicle, on the upper side of the step bumper, you can see we have got a factory knock-out plug here. This is where our Twist-In Connector is going to plug into. We are actually going to remove this cover here we are actually going to put our new 7-way plug in its place. To remove the knock-out cover, we need to just depress this tab here on the bumper, and that is going to allow us to twist counter-clockwise. I am just going to depress the tab here and disconnect the two. more
