Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video

This right here is a Tuhle hitching post pro, and this is a four block hanging style rack. It allows you to get four bikes loaded so you can get from point A to point B.It's a really nice bike rack. Yakima HoldUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
All right on our 2016 Kia Sorrento, we're going to be test fitting a Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Rack Platform Style. Now one of the nice features about this bike rack is that you can actually tilt it away to gain access to the back without having to take the bike off. Pull this red knob, lower the bike rack down. You can actually open the hatch all the way and still have access to everything in the back you need. Now I'll show you how to go ahead and take the bike off. Just grab the bike rack, tilt it back up. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to be testing our Kuat NV 2.0 Two-Bike Platform Rack, part number NV22G. Now, one of the really nice features of this bike rack is that it does tilt away without having to remove the bike. Just lift down on that lever, and the bike rack will tilt away giving you full access to the back hatch without ever having to remove the bike. Now, to show you how the bike comes off, you just lift the bike rack back up. You have a tire strap back here. You just push on this button, pull the strap out, and then up here push this button on this bar, move it out of the way, and your bike will come right off. Now, let's take a few measurements to show you a little bit of clearance and what kind of dimensions we're going to be adding to our vehicle. On the back of the vehicle, you're going to be adding about 31" to the total length of the vehicle. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento we're doing a test fit of the Thule T2 Pro Platform Style 2 Bike Rack. That part number is TH9034. Now we already have our bike secured down, first going to show you a few features, take a few measurements and show you how our bike gets secured into place. The first feature I want to show you is our tilting feature because we can't actually do this with our bikes installed on our bike rack. We're going to come here to the back handle. There's going to be a grey piece. more

Swagman XTC4 Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're doing a test fit of the Swagman XTC4 platform style 4 bike rack. That part number is S64665. Now we already had our bikes secured down but first, I'm going to show you how we do that. Now, on our front and back tire we have our straps. These are going to hold our bikes and make sure that they stay down in to our cradles. Those are quick and easy to remove. more

Pro Series Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on 2016 Kia Sorento, we're doing a test fit of the Pro Series Q-slot platform style 2- and 4-bike rack. That part number is PS63138. We already have our bike secured down. First going to show you how we do that, and then we'll go over some other features of the rack itself. With the front and back tire, we have hook and loop straps that are going to hold our tires into place, those are quick and easy to remove. Then in the center, we have a frame hook, this is going to hold our bike down into our wheel cradles and secure it in place. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today, on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're test fitting this Swagman XE2. This is a platform style 2 bike rack. It's been designed for use with inch and a quarter or with two-inch hitches. The part number on it is S64650. Now, the XE2 is going to use two wheels hoops and a frame hook to hold our bike into position. It's a really nice steady bike rack. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento TH912XTR- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we've got the Thule Roadway out and we're test fitting it, see what kind of room we've got between the rack and the vehicle itself. This is a 2 bike hanging style rack. They've designed it for use in 2 inch hitches. Part number on it is TH912XTR. Now the Roadway uses 3 straps to hold each bike in position. We're going to have 2 for the top frame too and also one for the anti sway cradle. more

Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we've got out the Thule Vertex, and we're doing a test fit of it just to see what kind of room we have between the vehicle and the bike rack itself. Now, this is a 4-bike hanging-style rack. It's designed for use with inch and a quarter or with 2-inch hitches. The part number on it is TH9029XT. Now, something that I really like about rack's going to be the incorporated lock cable system. It's going to pull right up out of that center mast. more
