Right off the bat, this is a great economical way for you to get yourself, your friends or your family out to the trail. Being able to take four bikes with you is pretty awesome. Now this is going to work with a few different sized bikes. You do want to keep in mind that is frame mounted, so it's not going to be great for your carbon frame bikes but anything that has a metal frame this is gonna work great for. more

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Ford Expedition- Video

Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Rocky Mounts Backstage Two Bike Platform Rack on our 2020 Ford Expedition. Now, right away you're getting some great features with this guy. The big one to stand out, as you see, we do have an E-Bike out here today, and with 60 lbs capacity, per bike, you're able to get most of those big bikes on here. Now, keep in mind, with those E-Bikes you do want to make sure you're removing those batteries, that's going to take the weight off of your bike, off of your rack, and make for a nice and smooth ride for yourself. As well as preventing any damage to your bike or your rack. Another great feature with this as well, is we are going to be able to fit some of those fat tire bikes on here. more

Now right I was obviously already said we do have a nice platform rack here and we do have some nice tire holds on our bike today. What that's gonna be great for. We're going to get those carbon frame bikes on here with no issue as we don't have any frame contact so that's going to be a great additive as well as with a 60 pound per bike capacity, totally 120 pounds. more

Now right away as you can see we do have a nice hanging style bike rack here today. And with these dual arm support systems, we're gonna get a lot of added support to our bike rack and we're not gonna have any sway on our bikes going left and right in this position. There's a three point contact on here. Keep in mind this is utilizing frame contact. So we don't want to be utilizing any kind of carbon frames or anything of that nature. more

What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer today, we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 on our 2020 Ford expedition. So if you're looking for a bike rack that really has all the goodies that I look for this is the one I would definitely recommend to a lot of my friends. Why Well, it comes in a lot of different colors. We have flat black, but we're also going to have gunmetal gray and metallic black. And the nice thing about this is if you do have a growing family or a growing love for the hobby, we can go ahead and add two extra bikes or even just one onto the end here.
