Today, we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer wiring harnesses available for the 2008 Toyota RAV4. We've got two different kits to look at today. Here we've got our Curt, this is part number C56165. Of course, just like our Tekonsha, this is going to give us a four-pole flat trailer connector, which is going to deliver our right turn and brake, our left turn and brake, our running lights, and our ground for our trailer, cargo carrier, whatever we decide to operate. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Toyota RAV4- Video
Today, in this 2008 Toyota RAV4, we're going to install part number C56165 from Curt. First thing you do is get inside the back of the vehicle, hold up the back door, and then we need to remove the floor coverings down to the well. Then we remove 2 flat panels on the bottom and 2 side panels on the interior. On the passenger side, we'll have to remove the jack as well. Then we'll go ahead and remove the threshold. We'll pull back the weather seal just a little bit and pry it up, releasing it from the clasp. Now pull it straight up and away. Now we need to loosen up the interior panels. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Toyota RAV4 C55113- Video
Today in this 2008 Toyota Rav 4 were going to install part number C55113 from Curt. First thing to start off is get inside the vehicle. Were going to remove the floor coverings, the storage covers, the threshold. On both sides were going to remove the trim fasteners and pull out on the trim panels on each side so that way we get access to the taillight wiring harness. Well remove the side panels by loosening some screws and using a pry tool to open them up. With the panels loosened up we can go ahead and start installing our T harness. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Toyota RAV4 118412- Video
Today on this 2008 Toyota RAV4 we are going to install part number 118412 from Tow Ready. The first thing we need to do is get inside the back of the vehicle and start taking apart the interior components. To get access to our wiring connection points we will actually be behind the tail lights. To get behind the paneling we are going to start in the middle. We are going to have to pull off this cover, we are going to take out this part. The next thing we have to do is take out these two side panels right here, one on each side. We are going to take off this threshold. It may require you to have a trim panel tool to help pop up the rivets. Next we are going to take out two access panels. There is one on each side to make the panel a little bit more flexible. 00:43 more
