Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Subaru Forester

Today on our 2013 Subaru Forester, we're going to show you the Curt T connector vehicle long harness with a four portal flat trailer connector. Part number C56040. What this wire harness does, is it takes battery power that comes from this red wire right here, the signals from the wires come into the box, or a module and then as soon as it is copied, then it goes out to your trailer. This will protect your vehicle wiring harness from any shorts or damage from the trailer wiring. The parts that you get are the wire harness here at the module and the fort that fits into the vehicle. It also has a fuse holder which comes complete with a fuse. A very nice long length of four pole wire and this is our four pole end right here. It also comes with a cap. more

Today on our 2013 Subaru Forester, we'll be installing the Tow Ready T-One vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector. Part number 118467. We'll now go ahead and show you how to use a new 4-pole connector. You simply take it out of the rear cargo area and run it out of the hatch and down to the hitch 00:00:17 or accessory. However, as we route it, we'll make sure we stay away from the rear cargo latch as pinching the wire in the latch can damage it. However, the weather stripping is thick enough that it won't. more
