Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Mazda CX-5- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Trailer Wiring Harness here on our 2018 Mazda CX-5. So here you can see, we have the trailer connector secured to the safety-chain loops using the dust cap that comes in the kit here. So the dust cap, and again, it serves two functions, it allows us to secure the trailer connector and also helps protect the pins from any water getting in there causing any corrosion issues and affecting our lights. So the key connector provides us with a 4-way flat trailer connector. That's gonna be the most common, chances are most trailers that we're gonna be towing with our CX-5 are gonna have that type of connector. This one is gonna transmit the basic signals that we need to remain legal while out on the road. more

Best 2018 Mazda CX-5 Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Hi there, Mazda owners. Today on our 2018 Mazda CX5, we're gonna be taking a look at the best wiring options. We've got our option for Curt here over on the left, and on the right, we have our option from Tekonsha. Now, when it comes to either of these two harnesses, they're so similar to one another, it really doesn't make a huge difference on which one you we're to pick. Brand loyalty is probably gonna be the biggest factor in this one, but I'm gonna cover some differences first because there are a couple of things that might sway your choice on which one is the best. In my opinion, the Tekonsha does come out slightly better than the Curt. more
