Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Volvo XC90- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer today on our 2017 Volvo XC90 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness. So before we show you how to actually get this wiring installed, let's go ahead and just check it out and make sure it's something that's gonna work for you. With that being said, one of the really nice things about this setup is the fact that you can mount it either outside next to your hitch or keep it inside out of sight and out of the elements and that's what our customers chose to do today. And personally, I think that's a great idea especially on these Volvos, they look really nice back here and so the less clutter and things going on the better they look at least in my opinion, but that being said if you keep it inside or what you're gonna have to do whenever you're ready to use it, is lift up your little cargo container there, pull your wiring out and then you can just drape it over your threshold. You wanna avoid the latch area and you simply close your hatch. Now it might seem kinda odd closing your hatch on the wiring, but it's meant to work like that so you're not gonna have to worry about damaging it or anything else, but once you do that, you're gonna have more than enough length to connect to our trailer wiring, or maybe even our light up accessory. more

Best 2017 Volvo XC90 Trailer Wiring Harness- Video
Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2017 Volvo XC90. Over here we're going to have the Tekonsha four-pole wiring. Then right next to that we're going to have the CURT four-pole wiring.The first thing you'll notice about our wiring, the biggest difference, is going to be our converter boxes. The CURT is a little bit wider but it is a little bit thinner. Now one thing that the CURT doesn't do, if we look at the end of our converter box, just pull on the wire a little bit, you can almost just see directly in there. Now while these are soldered in the converter box, there's no kind of insulation protecting all the circuits inside.If we move over to the Tekonsha, we'll notice that the end of the converter box looks like it has that epoxy material on it surrounding all of the wires. more
