Best 2007 Honda Odyssey Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today on our 2007 Honda Odyssey we'll be looking at our trailer wiring options. We have two wiring harnesses here today. Right here we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness, part number 118438. Right here we have the CURT t-connector vehicle wiring harness, part number C56161. Both of our wiring harnesses that we have here today feature the standard four-pole flat trailer connector. This will give you the required connection that all trailers have to give you the required running lights by law so you can safely tow a trailer. Our difference that we have between these two here today is our Tekonsha one has a dust cover built in. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2007 Honda Odyssey- Video
Today in our 2007 Honda Odyssey will be installing a toe ready T1 connector part no. 118438. First we open up the rear cargo door then were going to remove the rear trunk panel and trash hold to remove the rear trash hold you first need to remove the two cargo hooks now we go and pop trash hold free now with the trim panel and trash hold set aside were going to move over to the passenger side and remove the rear trim quarter panel. When removing this panels you can use a flat plated screw driver or a trim panel tool as we are in this case now with the panel free you can see the black electrical box. The top rack corner of the electrical box will match identically to the great connector of our new toe ready T1 harness. Well plug directly in to it and lock in place next we need to take the white wire the ring terminal pre form and attach it to a ground here next to a electrical panel is a manufacturers ground that we can use first of all we remove the ground stud, install the ring terminal and then reinstall our ground stud. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2007 Honda Odyssey 118438- Video
Today on this 2007 Honda Odyssey we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 118438. We are in the rear cargo area of the Odyssey and we want to locate the port that we are going to plug our wiring harness into. The port is actually located inside of the vehicle directly behind the passenger side interior panel. To gain access to that we are going to have to remove a few of these interior pieces. We first need to remove the middle threshold section. We first want to remove the threaded tie down hooks at the rear threshold piece. With those removed we just want to take and gently pry it up from the bottom and what we are attempting to do is release the clips that are not only on the rear section but at the bottom as well. You may find that with it removed that some of the fasteners stayed inside of the vehicle. You do want to remove these and put them back on the threshold piece for reion after we are done. 00:47 more
