Hey guys, Connor here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Custom Embed Fifth Wheel/ Gooseneck Wiring Harness for our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2,500. Our Curt Wiring Harness here, is going to be an excellent option for our savvy Silverado. It's going to provide the basic trailer lighting functions, as well as the electric brake, reverse, or even auxiliary battery charged circuit for some of our larger trailers.As you can see here, the seven way is located in the bed. So, it's going to be convenient for our Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harnesses, where the siren way might not reach the bumper. As you can see here, we have this nice door, which is going to protect our pins in here from any rust or corrosion and causing any lighting issues. more

Shane: Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.Com. Today I'm going to walk through how to install mighty cord gooseneck fifth wheel wiring harness on your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Adding an in bed wiring kit to your vehicle is going to make it a lot easier when hooking up to your gooseneck or fifth wheel. To plug your wiring in here, you're not going to have to hang it over top of your tailgate and plug it in down by your bumper. Now the nice thing about it is, not only are we going to be able to use the seven pole plug inside the bed, but we're going to be able to maintain the use of our factory plug on our bumper. Hi there, Silverado owners. Today in our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be installing Draw-Tite's fifth wheel or gooseneck wiring harness. This wiring harness is going to put your seven pole connector in a much more convenient location for your fifth wheel or gooseneck trailers. Often your fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer, the cable that comes with it isn't long enough to reach over the back of the bed of your truck to plug into your existing factory connector. And if it is long enough, it's usually just barely long enough. And then you've got a cable rubbing up against the outside of your tailgate, potentially scuffing up the paint. more
