Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Reese three on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler.If you don't have three bikes you want to take with you, we do have a two bike version available as well here on etrailer.com.So this is going to be able to hold up to three different bikes with two different tie-down points. It doesn't have an anti-sway cradle. So there is going to be a decent amount of swaying with your bike. And depending on how wide your bike is, you might have a little bit of contact with your center mass, but these two straps up top will protect your bike frame from any damage. Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today you're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro, four hanging style bike rack on our 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited. Now our Hitching Post Pro is going to allow us to take up to four bikes to and from the trail. That's going to be really nice, we're not going to have to worry about cramming our bikes into the back because let's face it, there's really not a whole lot of room. We're probably not going to get one, let alone four bikes in the back, but it's also going to prevent us from having to worry about putting a roof rack on top of our car and having to reach all the way up here to load our bikes up. Having a hitch mounted carrier's going to make it a lot easier to get those bikes to and from the trail. And since we have four, we can take some family or friends with us.And it has a hanging style so we'll have three points of contact, two on the upper cross tube here, and then we'll have one on the vertical support. more

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Collin: Hey everyone, Collin here at etrailer. Today we have in here a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and we're going to do a test fit of the RockyMounts WestSlope 3 bike rack. This is a platform style rack that is going to allow you to haul up to three bikes to and from your destination.Now, what I really like about this bike rack, and this is pretty noticeable at the start, it sits very high compared to a lot of other platform racks, and that's thanks to the tiered loading system. So you can see as our first bike sits right here, the next set of quails sits about two to three inches higher and that's going to be the same thing for the top one. That's going to help for spacing of the bikes, to make sure the handlebars or pedals don't make contact with each other. And that's also going to help improve your ground clearance by a lot. more

It's going to allow us to carry two bikes, to and from the trail. It's also going to prevent us from having to worry about having a roof rack, reach all the way to the top of our Jeep, or cram or bikes inside and potentially I had to find another ride for our passengers or more space for our bikes in. Just going to be a lot easier way to get your bikes to and from the trail.Now, the fact that it's a platform rack, it's going to give us a lot of adjustability because let's face it. A lot of times we get to the trailer, we get done riding, we load up our bikes and then we forget that we have something in the back hatch we needed to get to. Now essentially this is going to be a rack designed for suspension bikes and it's going to really take care of a lot of the problems we used to have with the platform style racks. Essentially by being able to hang our bikes here in index, you can see we've got four positions, it gives us plenty of ground clearance if we get onto rougher roads. A platform rack holding four big bikes would generally be out here and it'd be closer down to the ground.It has a couple of different positions. You can see right now we're in the middle position as far as being tilted back, and we're at the middle height level. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Colin: Hey guys, Colin here at etrailer. Today, we have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and we're going to do a test fit of the Saris SuperClamp EX two bike platform rack and cargo carrier. Now, this is a pretty unique setup. We're going to have a two bike platform rack on the back of our rack. While on the front, we have a cargo carrier, and that's going to be able to haul any excess equipment on the outside of our vehicle, if you've got bike equipment you don't want on the inside, muddy equipment from the end of the day or even coolers, stuff like that.Now, as far as the cargo carrier, if we look at inside dimensions on it, we're going to have 42 and a quarter inches on the inside rails. There's a slight rise right there, so you will have to make sure that it gets on lower on the inside of those rails when you're stacking cargo. more

And the other awesome feature about this, it will be able to tilt with both of your e-bikes on it.So what you've got to do to do that, there is a pin and clip down here that you undo first. And you might have to maybe push up on it a little bit to get that pin out a little easier. And then there's going to be this pressure knob right here.So what you are going to do is you hold that out, and it's going to lean down. And this is gonna allow you to access anything in your hatch, whether it be helmets, backpacks, maybe a lunch or two, whatever you need. more

Now my favorite thing about this bike rack is that it's made from aluminum, so it's going to be extremely lightweight and easy to maneuver and handle, and we're not going to have to worry about any rust or corrosion issues, either.It's going to hold our bike down in three spots. Today, we're going to be taking a look at RockyMounts WestSlope Platform-Style Bike Rack on our 2018 Jeep Cherokee.This is a platform-style rack that's going to have no frame contact. So if that's something you're really wanting in a bike rack, RockyMounts does supply that with the WestSlope. It does have two points of contact. You have this bar up here, which holds that tire down onto the rack, and also a back wheel cradle that has a zip-tie-style strap that secures that back wheel to that cradle.One really cool feature about this, it does enable you to tilt this bike rack with the bikes installed. One thing, though, when you pull this lever right here, there really isn't a great place to hold the actual rack, so I usually try to hold it on this main beam here as this arm does move freely. more

Randy: Hey, guys. It's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we've got a few minutes and we wanted to test the Thule Camber on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.Now, the camber itself is a four bike rack. It has a lot of nice features about it. This is going to allow you to safely transport four bikes from home, work, get out to the trail where you want to go, or even long distances, this is going to be a really good bike rack for travels like that. Collin: Hey everyone. I'm Collin here at etrailer, and today we have a 2015 Jeep Patriot. We're going to do a test fit of the RockyMounts WestSlope 2-Bike Platform Style Rack. This platform racks is going to allow you to carry up to two bikes to and from the trails. You can see it has a very nice upward angled slope to it, that's going to help out with a lot of ground clearance, just give you that more height at the back. So any curbs or anything you go up, you're not going to have too many issues bottoming out.Cool feature about this rack is that it can tilt away with bikes loaded, to give you access to the trunk. more

Hollywood Racks RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot- Video
Colin: Hey, everyone. I'm Colin here at Etrailer and today, we're gonna do a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE two bike electric bike rack on our 2015 Jeep Patriot. Now this two bike rack is pretty bolstered up. Its reinforced construction is going to be able to handle two electric bikes weighing up to 80 pounds each. So that's very sturdy. It's gonna be able to handle those bikes, unlike a lot of other bike racks out there where the weight might be too much for it, especially when you're traveling at high speeds. more

The unique thing about the Helium Pro is that it's going to be a very lightweight bike rack, but it's still going to be sturdy enough to have on the back of your SUV, car, truck or even a motor home.Now, it's going to have three points of contact on our bike. It is a hanging style, as you can see, so we'll have our three straps to undo. They've changed up their straps a little bit. They used to be kind of a rubbery, sort of a hole and peg kind of style and now they've got this cam strap with a flexible plastic construction. more

This is going to be for electric bikes, and we have it here on our 2015 Jeep Patriot.The nice thing about this rack is that it's really been bulked up specifically for electric bikes, which tend to be heavier. So it's got a pretty high weight rating as far as that, just about the highest rating I've seen out there. It'll be able to handle bikes that are up to 80 lbs. each or 160 lbs. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today, on our 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're gonna be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2 Bike Platform Rack.Now we have a bike installed, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now to start, we're gonna have three different points where our bike is secured. We have a hook-and-loop strap on the back wheel right here, and we're also going to have the same thing on the front wheel. Both of those are going to be securing the bike tires onto the wheel trays, and we're also going to have this padded frame hook putting downward force on top of our bike, forcing it down into the cradles. This rubber padding is going to help protect the bike frame from any type of scratches or abrasions.Now one thing that's cool about unloading your bikes, and especially because of how it sits on our Jeep, is that because the bike when installed sits pretty close to the spare tire. It makes it pretty hard to kind of just, you know, jimmy it in there and try to figure out a way to maneuver it around the mast right here, where our hooks are, and the spare tire. more

This will allow you to haul up to two bikes to and from the trails, or wherever else you want to take them. It's going to secure your bike at three different points. We have two zip strips on the top of our frame right here securing them onto the cradles right there. Then we have an anti-sway cradle with a zip strip through it. more

Today we have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee that we're going to test with the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo One-Bike Platform Rack, and when it comes to one-bike racks, this is a very high quality one. Obviously, it's going to let you take one bike wherever you want to go with it, maybe you're just riding trails on your own. It's going to hold your bike at two different points. We have a wheel hook putting downward force on top of this front wheel forcing it down into this wide wheel cradle. The second point is going to be on this pivoting wheel cradle. This cradle pivots back and forth to accommodate bikes of different lengths. more
