Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Evangeline: Hi, it's me, Evangeline, from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Saris MTR 2-Bike Platform Style Rack here on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. So this is a great bike rack, especially if you want all the options for your different types of bikes. One of the features is that it can tilt away, so to do so, you just pull this lever here and let it down. It comes to a stop there at that bottom, and you would want to do this if you want to open up your tailgate. So you can see here that we can completely lower our tailgate, which is great if we need to get in there, take things out of the truck bed without having to worry about taking off all our bikes and the bike rack. When you're done with that, you just lift up and it snaps into place.The way our bike is mounted to our bike rack here is by these two wheel mounts. more

Hey Jeep owners today on your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule DoubleTrack Pro 2-bike rack. The Thule DoubleTrack Pro is a two bike rack that's extraordinarily easy to use. A lot of bike racks have knobs that you have to twist some other gadgets, you have to fiddle with. What I like about this one is the lever action that allows us to easily slide and move our components. You can see that here as well on our arm hooks just have a lever that allows us to easily adjust it and put it back into place. Now, we do have a knob here but that's for security. more

Now, what's great about this bike rack in particular is how sturdy and strong it is because it can handle bikes up to 70 pounds per bike. So your big, heavy e-bikes, they'll work perfectly on it. It also has some nice sliding cradle features, which means it can handle bikes of all different shapes and sizes.Before mounting on my bike, what I like to do, especially for my bike is to take off this mount just for extra maneuverability, then I put the bike on there. So, you might be asking yourself, "Why do I need a bike rack if I have a truck" But if you're taking a road trip, or camping, or anything like that, you can put everything you need in your bed and then hang your bikes off the back of your vehicle and leave some extra space.Our bike rack is going to work with an inch and a quarter and two inch hitch receivers, so it will be pretty versatile if you have different hitch sizes for different vehicles and we will be able to take up to four bikes with us on the trails. Our bikes are going to mount here on the frame. There's three points of contact. We have this one here, this one here, and one down here around the back of our seat post.So, it is pretty solid on our rack, but if you have a carbon fiber bike, you do want to keep that in mind. more

Hi there, Jeep owners. Today on your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at and test fitting Thule's Hitching Post Pro four bike hanging bike rack. This hanging style bike rack is going to give you four different slots so you can bring along four bikes with you, so every passenger in your vehicle can have their own bike.It will work with most bikes. I do recommend not using carbon fiber bikes with it. If you have a smaller or specialty frame bike, like a children's bike, or one with a special frame, we do have adapter bars available so that way they can work on here as well.But if you've got your regular standard mountain bike, you should have no problem getting it on here. It's held in place with two cradles, one on each side, so we've got two points of contact holding our frame. more

So one thing I want to let you guys know first to make this fit properly, we are going to need to add a hitch extender. The one we're using here is a Curt and it is going to add about eight inches to the hitch receiver that you currently have. So just take that into consideration when we're going over the measurements and such. There are other options, so depending on what kind of tire you got and what kind of preference you have on branding or extenders, just go ahead and choose accordingly.But with the Curt eight inch extender, we got this to fit pretty well. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Jeep Cherokee TH9025XT- Video

This is going to be able to hold up to four bikes, but if you have one extra friend, we do have a five bike version available. It's going to be the same length, these cradles are just going to be a little bit closer together. But this is the four, so we're going to be able to hold up to four bikes with three different tie down points per bike.We are going to have two up top, and this is our anti-sway cradle. What that's going to do, it's going to limit that bike to bike contact that you get when you're going down the road. more

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Adam: Hi everyone. Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the RockyMounts BackStage with swinging feature on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler. This is going to be one of the few bike racks that's going to get you full access to the back of your Wrangler. To swing it away, all we really need to do is just loosen this bottom blue lever and pull this little pin. And as we're swinging out, we can also pull this lever and that's going to allow it to pivot at another point, by doing that, we're going to be able to swing this all the way out and it is going to lock into place. more
