Deka Lead Quick Disconnect Battery Terminal Installation - 2014 Ford Fiesta- Video
Today on our 2014 Ford Fiesta, we'll be installing the DeKa Quick Disconnect Battery Terminal, part number DW05312. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and open the hood and locate the manufacturer's negative battery terminal and cable. As you can see here on the driver's side is the battery and this is the negative battery terminal. Now to install the Disconnect, we'll need to remove the manufacturer's battery cable here at the battery. In some applications you could then cut the cable, install it into the new Disconnect and then secure the Disconnect to the battery. However, because the cable is so short on this application, by the time we cut it we wouldn't have enough room to fit it where the battery terminal will attach to the battery safely. We're going to install a new cable. We're going to remove the old or manufacturer's cable completely. Let's go ahead and loosen up the terminal and remove the ring terminal fastener. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 1999 Sterling L-Line- Video
Today on this 1999 Sterling L-Line RV, were going to install part number 90195 from Tekonsha, the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller, and also our part number ETBC7 installation kit. Were going to start off by working on the inside of the vehicle and then work our way out. The gray cable that comes with the kit will not be long enough for this install. We end up using a 42-foot length cable to complete the job. This will be part number 10-2-1. Now were going to take our wire, well run it from the inside to the outside. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2004 Dodge Sprinter- Video
Today on this 2004 Dodge Sprinter van, were going to install part number 39523, the Pod brake controller. Also to install this brake controller were going to use part number ETBC7, the installation kit. Well start off by installing our bracket and our seven pole wiring harness to the bracket. With our bracket installed well go and add the grey cable. Well split the sheath back a little bit and well have a white and black wires inside. Well connect those up to the wires from the seven pole. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2001 Chevrolet Express Van- Video
All right, today on this 2001 Chevrolet Express Van were going to install part #: 39523, this is the Tekonsha Power Track brake controller. Now to install this were also going to use part #: ETBC7, the brake controller install kit. Were going to start with that part first. Were going to start off of our wiring harness and start from the rear of the vehicle and work our way up. All right, next well go ahead and take our 7 pole bracket and were going to attach it directly to the bumper. All right, now well go ahead and take our seven to four pole adaptor, well attach it to the bracket, then well take the four pole and connect it to the preexisting four poles on the van. more
