Hi, Matt at etrailer, and today we're talking about the Michelin Cyclone windshield wipers on our 2024 Hyundai Kona. Now, we're gonna have a hybrid-style wiper blade, and that's really nice because if you like the benefits of a frame style and a beam style, this gives you both because this is gonna be applying pressure, a decent amount of pressure at that, so we're gonna be able to move a lot of items, snow, water, whatever it is, off your windshield, and it's gonna be evenly distributed. And the reason that is, is only because we have these pressure points on the bottom. You can see a little bit easier when I do this, we're actually going to have eight of them. So since we have 'em dispersed, once we're using this, it's gonna give us one uniform stroke. Underneath that we're also gonna have our blade, this is gonna be made from a natural rubber and we're gonna have this graphite coating to it. more

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about the Scrubblade Heavy Duty Wiper Blades on our 2024 Hyundai Kona. Now this is a really nice option if you're looking for a frame style wiper blade that's going to have a lot of extra grit or bite to it. So when you're already driving through those more heavy duty conditions, whether you're on a lot of gravel road, there's a lot of dirt, dust, grime getting on there, or you're driving through a lot of highways with construction, this is gonna be able to remove that. And to get a better look at it, with this being a frame style, we're gonna have a lot of points where we're applying pressure. That's really one of the advantages we have over a beam style wiper blade, is that we have one, two, three, four, five, six points where we can really apply pressure so this is giving us an even swipe going across, so we don't get any streaks or any gaps going through here. It's also really nice that, if we take a look at the blade itself, a couple things I'm gonna point out is this is gonna have a graphite coating to it. more

Now this is gonna be a frame style windshield wiper blade, and that's nice if you're looking for something that's gonna have even pressure throughout your windshield, versus more of a beam style that's gonna apply a lot of pressure just at maybe two points. To show you what I'm really talking about, the one that we have, we already have one installed, and that's gonna be on our 16 inch blade. And if you look here, we're gonna have one, two, three, four, five, six points. And each one of these points are applying pressure, so that's nice that this is dispersed throughout the whole blade. That's really nice when you do get a lot of rain that's coming down, maybe a little bit of snow, and some of that isn't really being caught. more

Now this is gonna be a beam-style wiper blade, and what that means is this is gonna be a curved blade and the way it works is it's just applying a lot of pressure to the windshield. All windshield does have a little bit of curving to it, so it's nice for that, and to really show you what I'm talking about, if I lift up on here, you can really see that shape start to show, and that's just gonna set down and apply pressure throughout. Now one of the downsides to this style is we're not getting even pressure throughout. It's mainly being applied to these edges. This sensor is gonna have some, too, but it just won't have as much. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these ClearPlus 17 Signature Series Wiper Blades on our 2022 Ford Maverick. Now, this is gonna be a beam-style wiper blade, and what that means is it's going to be one continuous curved beam. That curve is going to help it shape and adapt to the shape of your windshield, and opposed to the frame-style where you've got multiple points of contact, putting even pressure on the blade, this one's gonna be one solid piece. I went with this one for my own truck, because we get a lot of ice here in the winters in Missouri, so this solid piece is going to collect less ice and be better for the winter. Plus, in my own experience, I've just liked the beam-style a little bit better for my windshield, but it's all up to personal preference, really, a lot of people around the shop here prefer the frame-style, it's just down to what works best with your vehicle. more

Just to simulate some road debris, we're gonna go ahead and squirt on some ketchup here. On our driver's side, we have our new scrub blade, and on our passenger side we have our old wiper blade. So you can see the comparison between our scrub blade and how the conventional wiper blade works. As you can see, the scrub blade really cleans it off whereas our conventional blade is kind of just smearing it. Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2019 Mazda CX5 I'm gonna walk through how to install the ClearPlus Intelli Curve windshield wiper blades. If you're looking for new windshield wiper blades for your vehicle, I think the ClearPlus Intelli Curve are gonna be a great option. For a couple reasons. One, where our hinges are they're gonna have a rubber cover over them so that's gonna help the hinges hold up a lot longer, they're not gonna stick, you're not gonna have runs on your windshield when you're trying to clear water, ice, or snow off. It's gonna have a rigid center and a soft outer edge where the hinges are and what that does, it allows it to, not only create more downward pressure in the middle, but it allows the outside of the blades to contour to the glass shape. more

Now on our Winnebago, you're gonna wanna actually measure to make sure that you're getting the proper length of blade. And you can see this one here is 28 inches. Scrubblade Platinum Windshield Wiper Blade Installation - 2013 Volkswagen Beetle- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Scrubblade Platinum Hybrid Windshield Wiper Blades here on our 2013 Volkswagen Beetle. So, gonna be a pretty nice way of just giving yourself some new wiper blades. Now, if you're comparing this to some of the other wiper blades on the market, the Scrubblade is excellent if you find yourself doing a lot of highway driving, maybe doing a little off-roading although the Beetle here might be a little hard to do so. I think a lot of people with the Beetle are gonna be looking at this just because if you do have a lot of highway driving those bug guts, that debris can start building up. And what ends up happening here is we actually have two blades with the Scrubblade. So that first one hopefully is gonna be knocking down all that bug guts and debris, doing most of the heavy work leaving our second blade to come behind, stay nice and pretty and get all that water off of there. more

Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Rain-X Latitude Windshield Wiper Blades here today on our 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan. Now we are gonna be working with the 24 inch blades and the 21 inch blades, the 24 being for your driver, and the 21 for your passenger, of course. And it's gonna give you a very nice way of having a nice little windshield wiper blade, make sure that you have no trouble seeing out of your windshield, whether it be heavy rain or a little bit snow, anything like that, we're gonna have a decent job of clearing through. So, taking a look at the blade itself, you guys can see here, we just have a single blade here today. Now it is gonna have a graphite coating on it, that's gonna make it sure that it lasts us for the while. more

Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look, at the Scrubblade Platinum Windshield Wiper Blades, here on our, 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now guys, this can be a nice little way of going ahead, and replacing your older blades, that just quite aren't doing the job. Now, these guys are also gonna be great, if you find yourself doing a lot of excessive highway driving, running into a lot of those bugs, creating a lot of splatter on your windshield, and one of the ways of getting them off from there, while still having a secondary blade to be left in tack for that rain. So, we're always gonna have that second blade there, staying nice and pretty for ourselves. While that first one hopefully, it does a great job of cutting through all that bug guts and grime that we might be building up. more

Now guys, these can be a great way of giving you just a little bit of a stronger blade on your windshield. So, primarily guys, this is gonna be great if you find yourself doing a lot of mudding, overlanding, you're gonna have a lot of stuff getting on your windshield, maybe a lot of long road trips as well. Now personally, if you're wanting a little bit of outer housing here, if you're worried about that weather buildup in your frame, I recommend taking a look at the Scrubblade Platinum Windshield Wiper Blade. They're just gonna give you that nice outer housing here to prevent any kind of debris buildup. more

Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Clearplus Intelli Curve Windshield Wiper Blades here on our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now, guys, these can be a nice little way of just replacing your older windshield wiper blades that might not be quite doing the job, leaving streaks, not cleaning up that rain water debris that might be in your way and just going ahead and getting them replaced without having to break the bank to do so. Now I've had a couple of these on my Ford Explorer for awhile and they've done a very good job of holding up. I haven't had too much issue with them and they do do a very good job of staying conformed to that windshield. Now, you can of course find some more premium blades out there but these are definitely going to do the trick. more

ClearPlus Windshield Wiper Blades Installation - 2016 Ford Explorer- Video
In our 2016 Ford Explorer, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the ClearPlus Intelli Curve windshield wiper blades. This is what our ClearPlus windshield wiper blades look like when they're installed. These are gonna be all-weather hybrid-style blades that are gonna help keep your windshield clean of rain, snow, and ice, to give you a much safer ride during those conditions. Each wiper blade is gonna have a wraparound rubber coating, or shield, if you will, with a spoiler on it, not only is it gonna cover your metal components inside on the blade, but it's also gonna reduce how much snow and ice builds up. The squeegee, there's gonna be a compression molded rubber with a molybdenum coating that's gonna prevent chatter and skipping. Our flexible outside shell, with our flex points across the center of the blade, is gonna give it some more evenly distributed pressure across the blade, giving us more contact between our blade and our glass. more
