Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2012 Chevrolet Impala- Video
Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Impala we'll be test fitting the Yakima QuickBack 2 trunk-mounted carrier, part number Y02621. Before we begin our test fit we'll first need to check out the instructions or the Yakima fit guide to determine the placement of this on our vehicle. We'll go ahead and set the carrier onto the vehicle. You may need to adjust it by undoing the red knob located directly behind the cradle arms. We'll then put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk, the side hooks to the side part of the trunk, next to the taillights and the bottom hooks at the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Impala well be test fitting the Thule Gateway two bike trunk mounted carrier, part number TH9006XT. To begin our test fit, we will first need to check the Thule fit guide or the included instructions to see what number our fit knob needs to be at. Well set our fit dial to seven and set the carrier onto the trunk. Well put the top hook to the top part of the trunk, the side hook to the side part of the trunk next to the taillights, and the bottom hook at the bottom part of the trunk. Well then tighten down the straps to secure it to the vehicle. Once the carrier is secured to the vehicle were ready to load our bike. more

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Impala, well be test fitting the Thule Raceway Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier Trunk Mount, part number TH9003. Now before I begin our test fit, well first need to double check with Thules Fit Guide or the included instructions to determine the fit dial number for this vehicle. Well set the fit dial to number seven and set the carrier onto the vehicle. Well put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk, the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk and well turn the knobs from the left and right side of the carrier to tighten them down. Once the carrier is secured to the vehicle, well ready to load our bike. Well lower the platform, undo the grey levels at each end of the wheel tray, well slide them out and undo the straps. more

Well put the top hooks to the part of the trunk, the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk and turn the knobs looking at each side of the carrier to tighten them down and secure the carrier to the vehicle. Once it is secured to the vehicle, were ready to load our bike. Well lift up the grey lever located at the center of the carrier to swing out the cradle arms. more

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Impala, we'll be test fitting the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier Truck Mount, Part Number TH910XT. Now, before we begin our test fit, we will first going to check the Thule fit guide for the included instructions to determine the fit dial number. This fit dial will be set at 7. Now, we'll set the carrier on to the vehicle, we'll put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk, the side hooks to the side part of the trunk next to the tail light and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then tie the straps to secure it to the vehicle and then secure the extra strap. Now that it's secured to the vehicle, we're ready to load our bike. more
