Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender, part number MPG907 00:00:10. This truck bed extender is going to give you 53 inches of extension from the center of your hitch pin hole to the edge so you can haul the longest loads such as ladders, lumber, steel tubing, piping, steel beams, rods. You name it, you can put it on here. And, it can hold 500 pounds on the truck bed extender. So, if you figure that across the entire truck bed, you can haul some heavy stuff. Unlike some other truck bed extenders, this one has tall load stops, which are also adjustable, increasing the maximum width of whatever you can haul behind you with a range of 28 inches up to 48 inches. There's plenty of tie down points on the load stops, and you can go underneath the arms. more

Erickson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado

Today, on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender for truck bed or roofs, part number EM07605. Whether we need to transport a ladder, go to the hardware store, pick up some sheets of plywood, or anything else that's longer than 8 feet, you know the headache if you don't have an 8-foot bed truck. That's where our bed extender's going to come into play. It's going to allow us to be able to support our load and carry it securely and have tie-down points so we can get down the road safely. Our truck bed extender is going to allow us from the hitch receiver here and extend out all the way to 48 inches or four feet. Since the tailgate is down, from the tailgate to the end of our extenders, it's going to be right about 33 inches. At the end of our extender here, we're going to have several different holes. Now this is going to be able to adjust the height and how high you need the back end up or how far down. more
