EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Subaru WRX

Rob here at etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna be taking a look at the EcoHitch Class III custom-fit Invisi hitch on our 2019 Subaru WRX STI. It's gonna be completely hidden behind the bumper until we wanna use it. Then, we're gonna remove the factory knockout and we can see the receiver tube sticking out. Once we're not using our hitch, we can put the factory knockout in and it looks like it's not there, and it's a completely stock Subaru WRX. The nice thing about that, not only does it make it look nice, but it's also gonna save us a lot of ground clearance because our STI sits a little bit lower to the ground. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Subaru WRX

Hey everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the CURT Class 1 custom fit Trailer Hitch receiver on our 2020 Subaru WRX. Now, here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The crosstube is going to be visible, it's going to hang down right below the bumper and the receiver tube is going to be pretty close to being flushed with the back bumper. Now, it is a Class 1, which means it's going to give us that 1-1/4' by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, and it's to be great for light duty towing, maybe putting a bike rack or a small cargo carrier in there. But regardless of how we're going to use our hitch, all of our accessories are going to mount to the hitch pin hole here on the side. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Subaru WRX

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Subaru WRX, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Sportframe trailer hitch receiver. Now, one of the biggest differences between this hitch and some of the other ones on the market is that it's pretty much going to be completely visible. However, there is an upside to that, and that's in the functionality. It's going to be really easy to use. Everything is going to be open and you're not going to have any trouble getting anything connected or disconnected. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Subaru WRX

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Subaru WRX, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt class 1 trailer hitch receiver. Now, one of the main differences between this hitch compared to some of the others, is that for the most part, it's going to be completely visible, but that does have an upside. It's going to be really easy to use because everything's going to be in the open. Now, the hitches that are less visible are going to be a little more tough to work with. What I mean by that is, you're going to have to pull out your center plug every time you want to use it, and you're going to have to kind of pull your fascia back and reach way up there, to get your pin and clip in and even hook on your safety chains. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Subaru WRX

Today on our 2017 Subaru WRX, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C11408. All right, here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's tucked up nice and tight, up against our rear fascia here. It doesn't sacrifice much ground clearance so we won't have to worry too much about backing in and out of driveways or going up inclines pulling into a garage. We have this nice welded on collar at the end of our receiver opening here to give it a nice finished appearance, and also give it a little bit more strength. Welded on on the bottom of the frame and our receiver here we have this angular plate which is where our safety chain loops are for our trailer. more
