Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Pontiac Torrent - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2009 Pontiac Torrent we'll be installing Hidden Hitch part number 90145. This is what our hitch will look like after it's already been installed. Now we'll go over a few clearance measurements to help you when selecting accessories such as cargo carriers or bike racks. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most part of the bumper it's 5-1/2". From the top inside edge of the receiver tube to the ground it's 13". To begin our install we'll go ahead and point out our attachment points. We have a total of six attachment points. We'll first need to remove the center part of the fascia. more

Today on our 2009 Pontiac Torrent we'll be installing the Hidden Hitch part number 87572. This is what our hitch will look like once it's been installed on the vehicle. Now we'll go over a few clearance measurements to assist you when selecting some hitch accessories such as a ball mount, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most part of the bumper it's 5-1/4". From the top inside edge of the hitch to the ground it's 12-1/2". To begin our install we'll go ahead and point out our attachment points. We have a total of six attachment points. We'll first need to remove the center part of the fascia. We'll push in the three back buttons on the back three clamps to allow the part of the fascia to slide out. more

Today on our 2009 Pontiac Torrent we'll be installing the Curt Hitch, part number C12291. This is what the hitch looks like after it's been installed on the vehicle. Now we'll go over a few measurements to assist you in choosing accessories such as ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost part of the bumper is four and a half inches, and from the top inside edge of the receiver tube to the ground is fourteen inches. Now let's go ahead with our installation. To begin our install I'll go ahead and point out our attachment points. We'll have a total of six attachment points. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Pontiac Torrent- Video
Today on this 2007 Pontiac Torrent we are going to do an install of part number 13591 from Curt. Now this is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the vehicle. Next well give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of receiver opening down to the ground on this particular vehicle is going to be 14 inches. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outside edge of the bumper is going to be 4 inches. Now we will go ahead and show you how the hitches is installed on the vehicle. more

Today on this 2009 Pontiac Torrent we are going to install part number 13591 from Curt. First I will go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up onto the vehicle. It will mount up on the frame, on the outside edges, and also on the bumper to existing threaded fittings in the vehicle. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Pontiac Torrent - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today we are going to do an install on a 2006 Pontiac Torrent by Draw-Tite, part number 36408. Before you install your hitch it might be best to find all your mounting locations, just to get familiar with the underside of your car. There are six holes total: there are two on each side of the frame, one low and one high and those are notorious for being dirty, so before you start the install it would be best to run a bolt in and out. Maybe spray some lubricant on it to ream any debris out of the hole, so it will be a lot easier when you are raising up the hitch to get a bolt started. Next we have the center of the vehicle, and there are two holes. These are both threaded on this particular model, so you will need to fish wire the carriage bolts in place. And the drivers side is definitely going to be the harder side of the install, because there are two, just like the other side, but they are between the muffler and the outer fascia. more
