Today on our 2017 Nissan Leaf we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the CURT Custom-Fit Class 1 trailer hitch receiver. Part number is 11396. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on the Leaf. As you can see, you're not adding a whole lot to the rear of the vehicle. We don't have crosstubes or anything like that. Those are all hidden behind the fascia. Just going to have our receiver tube opening and our safety chain connection points all that are really going to be visible. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Nissan Leaf - Curt

Today on our 2013 Nissan Leaf, we're going to be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C11396. Now here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 5 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 12 1/4 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. We're going to begin here by removing the under body panel from the vehicle. more
