Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, we have a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and we're gonna be showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class III, two-inch trailer hitch receiver. But before we do that, why don't we check it out and make sure that this is the right hitch for you. So my first impression of the hitch; even though it is for the most part, completely visible, I don't think it looks too bad. It does do a decent job of kind of blending in. And I do think it's gonna work out well regardless on what you plan on doing with it. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt Class III two-inch trailer hitch receiver. But before we do that, why don't we check it out and make sure that it's something that's gonna work for you So my first impression of the hitch on the back of the Mitsubishi is I think it looks really good, actually, even though it is for the most part, completely visible. You know, it does sit up nice and tight against the bottom of it and does a really good job of blending in and that's not always the case with hitches that are visible, but on the Outlander, I think it kind of adds to that sporty and outdoorsy look. So I do see some of our Outlander Sport customers using their hitches to do some towing, but the majority of them, generally speaking, really just plan on using hitch-mounted accessories like a bike rack or a cargo carrier. And I think this hitch will work out well regardless on what you're doing. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver.Here's what your hitch is going to look like installed. We've got our 2" x 2" receiver tube opening. Then you can see our rounded crosstube is going to go over to each side of the frame where it makes its connection. This is a Class III hitch so it's going to be extremely versatile. There are all types of hitch accessories available, and typically those will come in some variety of Class III.When securing your items, you'll want to use the 5/8 diameter pinhole. You'll see there's pretty good amount of room around there. more

Part number is C12048.Now, here's your hitch once you get it installed. As you can see, we got our cross tube, going to come across, meets at our side plates here. That goes up and connects to the frame for us. In the middle, we've got our inch-1/4 by inch-1/4 receiver tube opening. It's tucked right in the edge of the bumper. more

We've got our rounded cross tube all the way across, it meets our side plates there. Goes up and connects to the frame. In the center we've got our two inch by two inch receiver tube opening.And this is a Class III hitch, so it makes it a very versatile hitch, there's lot of accessories you can choose. If they make it as a hitch accessory, it's probably available in Class III. That's how common this size is.Now to hold your items in place, you always want to use that larger 5/8 diameter pin hole. more

Today on our 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt customer-fit class 3 trailer hitch receiver. This offers a two-inch opening. It's part number is C13079. Here's what the hitch looks like installed. It's going to give us a nice heavy duty symmetrical look across the back, tucks up before the edges right up into the frame rails. It's really easy to install. more

Its part number is C12048. Now here's what the CURT hitch is going to look like when you get it installed on our vehicle. It's got the round tube, tucks in, very symmetrical looking. There's not any one side that's weird or goofy on it. more
