Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor

Today, on our 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor, we're going to be installing Draw-Tite's class III two inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross tube is going to be visible along with the receiver sticking off the back, but it doesn't detract too much from the looks of the vehicle. It's a class III two inch by two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all your towing needs. From cargo carriers, bike racks, to trailers, it's going to handle everything. It uses a five eighths inch hitch pin and clip. Now, one doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor

Today we are going to be installing part number 75163 by Draw-Tite on a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor. We are underneath the vehicle now, and we are looking at the drivers side frame rail over here. The mounting location for the hitch on the drivers side is going to be the two weld nuts here at the base of the frame and then the two weld nuts here on the side of the frame, as well. On models that have seen at least one winter, a lot of times there is some corrosion built up in these weld nuts. So it is a good idea to go ahead and lubricate those first with a spray lubricant like WD-40 to kind of loosen up the rust and make it a little easier to get the bolts in there. So I am going to go ahead and do that on both sides of the vehicle. more
