Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Hyundai Kona

Hi there Hyundai owners! Today in your 2022 Hyundai Kona, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. The majority of the hitch is gonna be hidden behind the bumper here. We don't need to remove the bumper to install it, so that's nice, but you're really just gonna see this receiver here at the back. And it is fairly small, and tucked up underneath so it really doesn't detract too much from the looks of the vehicle. It's a 1-1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for all your light duty towing applications or for accessories. more

Ryan: Hey everybody, I'm Ryan and here at each etrailer, we install, test-fit and review a lot of different parts, that way we can try to answer any questions that you guys might have. That's exactly what we're doing on our 2020 Hyundai Kona today. We're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT Class 1 trailer hitch receiver. Right off the bat, my first impression is I think the hitch is actually going to look pretty good. It's really not all that noticeable. The only thing you're going to be able to see is the receiver tube opening here and since the rest of the hitch is up under the car, you're not going to have to worry about a big bar hanging down or anything like that, which it's always nice to be able to maintain more of a factory look. Now with these Konas, they're not huge cars so having a trailer hitch is going to allow you to use some accessories, that way you can help free up some space on the inside. more
