Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Fiat 500- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look and installing the Curt Class 1 Trailer Hitch on a 2019 Fiat 500. Now this is what it's gonna look like when it's installed, and it is an exposed cross tube here so you can see a portion of the hitch. And overall though, it's tucked pretty well back in there, and even the receiver tube opening doesn't protrude too much. So it does still give it a pretty clean look while still getting the usability of the hitch. Now being a Class 1, this is gonna be an inch and a quarter. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Fiat 500- Video
Today on our 2016 Fiat 500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class I Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. So, here's what the hitch is gonna look like, once we have it installed. The cross tube's gonna be hidden behind the bumper, and all we're gonna see is the receiver tube sticking out, which is gonna be a really big benefit, because we're not gonna have the hitch hanging down below the bumper, which means we'll have a little bit better ground clearance.That's a Class I hitch, which means it's gonna give us an inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter receiver tube opening, and this will be great for some bike racks or even some of those smaller cargo carriers. The way we're going to mount any of our accessories is the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a half inch pin and clip. These are not included in the kit, but you can find them here at etrailer.com.Now, if you do plan on doing some light duty towing, our safety chain connection point is going to be a loop style, loads at the bottom of the receiver tube. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Fiat 500 - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2014 Fiat 500, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class 1, with a inch and a quarter opening, part number 24873. This is what our new hitch looks like on our Fiat. As you can see, the cross-tube of the hitch is tucked nicely behind the fascia and is up out of the way. The only thing that sticks out is your receiver tube for easy access. You have your tie-down hoop right here so you can put your safety chains in. Your half-inch pin hole right here that goes all the way through. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Fiat 500 - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2015 Fiat 500, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Sportframe trailer hitch receiver, Class I with 1-1/4in opening, part number 24873. AS you see, this is what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. It is the Class I hitch with 1-1/4in opening, so you're going to be limited to smaller accessories such as a two bike carrier, or a small cargo carrier with a 1-1/4in shank. It does feature a 1/2in pinhole for your pin and clip, easy access to your tie-down loops to secure straps around your bikes, or whatever else, or your small trailer if you do have a small cargo trailer. You are limited to a two hundred pound tongue weight and a two thousand pound towing capacity. We want to check your manufacturer's specs so you can see what the towing capacity is for your vehicle. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Fiat 500 - Curt- Video
Today, on our 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth, we'll be installing the Curt class 1 one and a quarter inch receiver tube hitch, part number C11347. Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is three and three quarter inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is nine and a quarter inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. Now, here's what our hitch is going to look like, once it's installed. This is a class 1 one and a quarter inch receiver tube hitch. Here, we have our easy to access chain hold downs, and our pre-drilled hitch pinhole. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Fiat 500 - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on this 2012 Fiat 500 we're going to install part number 24873 from Draw-Tite. This is what the hitch looks like once it's in stalled on our Fiat. Next we'll give some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From top of the receiver opening down to the ground is about 11 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper is about 2 1/2 inches. Now I'll show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we do is double check to see if this car has a spare tire or not. In this vehicle it does not. more
