Today on a 2008 Dodge Caliber we're going to install part number 60832 from Hidden Hitch. This is a Class 1 receiver hitch, inch and a quarter. This is what the hitch looks like once it's installed on our Caliber. Next, we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From top of receiver opening, down to the ground, will be about 13 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper, is about six and three-quarter inches out. Today on our 2011 Dodge Caliber, we're going to install hidden hitch part number 60832. Here couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch such as the bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost point of the bumper is 7". From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13".Now, let's go ahead with the installation. With the install process, let's take our 4" 5A bolt and go ahead and fit them into the frame from the outside to the inside. Now, the bolt will go all the way through the frame however when it keep it flushed with the frame until we get our hitch in place. more

Today on a tall dodge caliber were going to install the drag tight hitch number 24769 here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new job such as a hitch such as a bike rack or a cargo carrier and the center of the hitch pin well to the outermost part of the bumper is 7 inches, from top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13inches, now lets go ahead with the installation.The installation process is take our 4inch 5of the bolts and go ahead and feed them into the frame from the outside to the inside, now the bolt will go on all the way through the frame however you want to keep it flushed with the frame until we get our hitch in place, well do this for both sides.We need to process the do here on the drivers side well repeat it identically on the passenger side, now the hardware in place, well go ahead and push the bolts through the frame into the hitch.Now the hardware in place well go ahead and push the bolts through the frame into the hitch up and push the bolts through the frame into the hitch, now with the bolt holding the hitch in place well take our 5A lock- washer about 5A nut then, thread them on to the end of the bolt Ill go and repeat the same process for all the attachment points.Now with all our fasteners in place, well go and tight them down, now with all our fasteners tightened down, were going to talk to stressifications as indicated instructions and with all our fasteners charged to specifications, that will complete the install of our tro dodge draw tight hitch, part number 24769 on our 2011 Dodge Caliber. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Dodge Caliber- Video
Today on this 2010 Dodge Caliber we are going to be installing Draw-Tite Hitch part number 24769. Before we get started with our installation we are going to go ahead and show you a couple of the final installed dimensions which are going to help make choosing your hitch accessories a little bit easier. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is going to measure 14", and from the center of the pin hole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure right at 6-1/2", and now we will go ahead and move on to our installation. Okay so we are up underneath the vehicle, and we want to go ahead and locate the hole that we are going to be using to mount the hitch to the vehicle. Starting over here on the drivers side, we are actually looking at the outboard side towards the end of the frame here, and if you see there are two holes here, and these holes actually pass all the way through the frame we will be using each one of those as our attaching points for our trailer hitch and that's actually going to be the same on the passengers side as well. What we are going to be doing is taking the provided 5/8 bolts here and inserting all the way through the holes, and the hitch will actually attach on the inboard side of the frame. more

Today on this 2008 Dodge Caliber, were going to be installing a hitch from Draw Tite, part number 24769. This is comparable to Hidden Hitches, part number 06832. Were going to give you a couple measurements that will come in handy when selecting accessories to use with your hitch. From the ground to the top of the receiver tube we have a hitch height of 12-1/2 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to our outer bumper we have a measurement of 6-1/4 inches. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Dodge Caliber- Video
Today on this 2009 Dodge Caliber we will be installing Hidden Hitch part number 60832. This installation will also apply for Draw-Tite part number 24769. We are underneath the vehicle and we are actually looking at the driver side frame rail. You can see here on the side of the frame we have got two existing holes. Those are going to provide our attaching points on both sides of the vehicle here. What we are going to be using are the long 5/ 8 bolts that are provided with our installation kit. There is actually a cushioning inside of these holes here that will allow us to slide these bolts all the way through. So what we are going to do is just slide those in and what we want to do is leave them flush with the frame rail here because the hitch is actually going to slide up on the inboard side here. more
