Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2024 Chevrolet Traverse

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT Class 3 two-inch hitch receiver. Adding the hitch receiver to the back here at Traverse is gonna allow you to haul bike racks, cargo carriers, or maybe even tow a small trailer. If you're planning on towing a trailer, I highly recommend going ahead and picking up a four-pole wiring harness to install while you install the hitch, because our factory plug is gonna be right here behind the fascia. It'll be really, really easy to get it plugged in and get it working while you're installing the hitch. Being that this is a two-inch by two-inch hitch receiver tube opening, it is gonna give you a lot of options for accessories out there. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Chevrolet Traverse

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Chevy Traverse. Now you may be wondering, "Where is the hitch located I don't see anything." And that's the great part about the Traverse is from the factory, there's an access panel that's gonna cover up the hitch until you're ready to use it. You'll just simply twist those knobs. We'll get this to pop out, and now we have full access to our hitch. And that's kind of the great part about this one is it does, it is extremely hidden the entire time until you need to use it. Now that does require pulling the fascia off to get this installed, but overall, you're gonna get one of the cleanest looks out there with a nice OEM look when not using it. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'mma show you how to install the etrailer class three two inch hitch receiver. Now right off the bat you're gonna notice this large opening in your bumper, all Traverses will have this opening and that is to be able to take this cover off so you can use your hitch or when you're not using it, pop it back into place and then you'll never see that hitch. So it's just like it was from the factory. Our hitch receiver will have a two inch by two inch opening, which is gonna be great for many different accessories. Two inch is going to be the most common size, so you can use it for bike racks, cargo carriers or if you want to tow a small trailer. more

etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Chevrolet Traverse

Hi, John with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at etrailer's Class III receiver hitch that we installed on our 2023 Chevrolet Traverse. Now taking a closer look at the etrailer hitch, we're gonna have a matte black powder coated finish on this hitch, and one important thing to note is that when you're not using the hitch, this does fit behind the factory hitch cover here. So that's kind of nice to have that retained factory look when you're not using it. Now this is gonna be the hitch by itself when you purchase it. If you're gonna do towing or anything, you're gonna need a pin and clip. more

Ryan: Hey everybody. Ryan here at etrailer.com. So now on our 2020 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III 2-Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver. Now the main difference with this hitch compared to some of the other ones out there is that this one is going to be for the most part completely visible. You're going to be able to see the cross tube as well as your receiver tube opening, but the cross tube does sit pretty far underneath the bumper and holds up pretty tight against the bottom of it, so it's really not going to be all that noticeable or at least stand out all that much. Now if you're looking for something that's completely hidden, there is a hitch available that sits behind the bumper. You would take this little access panel off and your receiver tube opening would be behind it, but at the end of the day it's really just your personal preference and what you're looking for as far as the appearance goes. And one of the things I really like about this hitch is how easy it's going to be to get to whenever you need to use it. more

Rob: Everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2020 Chevrolet Traverse. Now our hitch is actually going to be behind this panel right here, so when we're not towing, we can have a really clean factory look for our Traverse, we're not going to have a big old hitch sticking out. But when we do want to use it, we just loosen up the two knobs here on the bottom, and pull the panel out, and we'll have access to our hitch, we can put any kind of hitch mounted accessories in there. But then we need to make room on the inside of our Traverse, we have cargo carrier back here, loaded up with gear, making more room. Or if we want to hit the trails, we could put a bike rack in there, carry some bikes with us, or clearly we can use the hitch to tow a trailer. Now our hitch is going to be a Class III, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and have the widest variety of accessories available that we can mount up. Now regardless of what kind of accessory you're going to be using, they're all going to mount the hitch pin hole here on the side. Our hitch is going to accept a standard inaudible 00:01:07 pin and clip. Now these are not going to come with the hitch, but you can find them here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure, or anti rattle devices to cut down on that rattling noise when we're driving down the road. But if you are going to be towing a trailer, you need a spot to hook up your safety chains and here it's going to be a loop style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. more
