Today on this 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic, we are going to show you the BMW Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver, 2 inch Class 5, part number BWHDRH2518. All right, this is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the truck. At first glance, you can see most of the hitch resides underneath the bumper. It is recessed behind the bumper, but in this case, we have got a little over an inch space between the two. Around the 2 inch opening we have a reinforcement, going farther back use a 5/8 inch hitch pin, or your favorite locking pin. Off to the side here we have go this plate structure, this is for your safety chain hooks. Then it goes into a heavy gauge steel, tubing it goes across both sides of the hitch and then two heavy gauge plates that go up to the frame. more

Today we are going to install part number 13322 from Curt, and we are going to install this on a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. First off, we will show you where the hitch mounts up on the frame. It is going to mount up in two different places. It is going to mount up on this hole here. This bolt gets removed, and a new bolt gets put in its place, and the hitch mounts here. And it is going to be identical on the other side of the vehicle. And also on two places on the bumper itself: on this threaded hole, and on this threaded hole, too. more
