Before we do that though, let's take a minute, check it out and make sure it's gonna work for you. So when it comes to these A5s, you know, they're really good looking cars and if I was to want to put a hitch on it my biggest concern would be the appearance, right Don't wanna do anything to take away from the looks of this. And that's where a hitch like the stealth hitch is gonna come into play. So believe it or not, the main body of our hitch is actually installed on the car, it's sitting behind her bumper and you're not gonna be able to see anything. more

And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You will be able to see the cross tube going across the bottom here at the back. And the receiver does stick out a little bit here at the back. It does not go past like the curves here of our vehicle at the back. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Audi A5- Video

We're going to be taking a look at and installing the CURT trailer hitch receiver, for our 2019 Audi A5.This is what our trailer hitch here is going to look like while it's installed. As we can see here, it has a hidden design, meaning the cross tube of the hitch is going to be hidden behind our bumper here, so the only thing we're going to be able to see is the receiver tube opening. That's going to give us a very streamlined, finished, clean install look.Our hitch here has a one and a quarter inch opening with a class one rating. Now this is going to allow us to do many different things. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Audi A5- Video

Ryan: How's it going, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today, on our 2012 Audi A5, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT class 1 trailer hitch receiver. Now, even though the hitch does sit further back, the receiver tube opening is actually going to give us some pretty good clearance. It's just going to sit right behind our plastic bumper and that's going to work perfectly for those folding accessories like bike racks. This is a class 1 hitch, so it's going to have that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. And it's also going to have a reinforced collar for extra strength. more
