Today on this 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 we're going to show you the Cipa custom towing mirror, Part Number CM10951. This is for the driver's side. Also, for a passenger side on this truck, you can use Part Number CM10952. This is how a towing mirror looks like once it's installed on the factory mirror. You notice it has an edge that wraps around the very edge of the factory mirror. Now this, you'll notice, follows the same shape as the mirror that was original from the factory on the truck. The mirror is not on the ball socket on the inside, so you can actually move it in any direction you'd like. This mirror is designed for this specific truck only. It's not a universal kind of mirror. more

First up in our installation go ahead and make sure your mirror is completely clean. You want to get rid of any dirt, debris, bug guts. You just want to get that off so the mirror that sits on top of it won't rub it into the finish of your plastic here. You can see how our towing mirror matches up with the factory mirror. It's pretty simple. You want to make sure these hooks right here on the top catch along this edge right here. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, we're going to be installing the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors in a slip-on design, for both the driver and the passenger side, part number LVT-1800. Now, here's what our Longview custom towing mirrors look like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and show you what they look like going down the road with a trailer attached. Now I'm standing back behind the vehicle. We're looking through the factory mirror, and as you can see, you cannot see me in the factory mirror. But when you move over to the Longview towing mirror, you can see me. This gives you and idea of how much extra field of view you have behind your vehicle with the towing mirrors installed. Now let's go over the operation of the functions of our towing mirror here. This outer mirror is the actual towing mirror. more

K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Series Crew Cab we'll be test fitting the K Source Custom Towing Mirrors, part number KS80900. We'll go ahead and place our towing mirror over our existing mirror, bring it around front until we hear all those snaps snap in place. We want to make sure that we have the three snaps at the top around the lip of our mirror and the one long one here at the bottom around the lip of our mirror. Now we'll grab our driver's side mirror and repeat this process for our driver's side. You can push on the corners of the mirror to adjust it as needed when hauling your equipment. That completes today's test for the K Source Custom Towing Mirrors, part number KS80900, on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Series Crew Cab. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Series Crew Cab, we'll be test fitting the CIPA Towing Mirror for the driver's side part number 10901. This is also available for the passenger's side with part number 10902. When we're looking up our towing mirror box, we see that we have a wedge, two thumb strips, and a screw. Now the thump strips we're already installed so that way you can see where to place them on your towing mirror. There's a guideline right here and underneath the strip is this foam, that way it tells you specifically where to put these foam pad. We have it installed right there, the other foam pad was on the wedge. Now I'm going to be placing our towing mirror under the mirror connected to our truck. more
