What's going on everybody, Adam with Etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Konig self-tensioning snow tire chain on our 2016 Toyota Highlander. If you're looking for my favorite set of chains, these are it. They're super, super simple to install. And the nice thing about these are they are going to have a diamond pattern and they will have a manganese nickel, alloy construction. But, the cool thing about this is if you have maybe some ice or something like that we are going to have some icebreakers in the middle which are basically just plates, but these are going to be really good for increasing attraction. more

What's going on everybody Adam here with the etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chain on our 2016 Toyota Highlander. These chains are not SAS class compatible so if you're really looking for some lower profile chains, these aren't gonna be the ones that you really wanna grab. They are going to have a better traction than the SAS class certified chains just because of the larger links. And we are going to have little cross chains here that's going to form a diamond pattern. So on this front wheel drive vehicle it's going to be really easy to turn and stuff like that. more

Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2016 Toyota Highlander- Video
What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains on our 2016 Toyota Highlander. These are SAE "S" Class certified tire chains, which are nice for our Highlander, just because we don't have a whole lot of wheel-well clearance. And they are going to be made of a Manganese Nickel Alloy steel, square links all the way around. We're going to have these cross chains making a diamond pattern. So it's going to be great on our front wheels to be able to turn, stop and start, of course. more

And what you can see here is that we have really good coverage on these tires. So, this is a diamond pattern style. So, we're getting coverage all the way across versus the ladder style, that's only given it every so often. more

Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains with Cams Installation - 2016 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be test fitting the titan chain snow tire chains with cams, part number TC2829CAM. These tire chains have a ladder pattern to them with these v-bar links which would make it really easy to drive in the snow and have superior traction on ice as well. The built in cam tighteners ensure a nice, snug, secure fit around your tire. It's made of low carbon steel construction which is very strong and durable. This comes with two tire chains and has a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour. Today we will be working with tire size 24560R18. more

Glacier Mud Service Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2016 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Highlander we're going to be test fitting the Glacier Mud Service Snow Tire Chains. Part number PWH2437S. The chains themselves have a standard ladder pattern design and these twist link chains here actually provide really good traction for both snow and mud. The chains will stay nice and tight without any use of cams or rubber tensioners. These are made from a low carbon steel construction which make them strong and durable and they have an electro-galvanized finish which resists corrosion. The design itself works on either front or rear wheel drive vehicles and it comes with a quantity of 2 chains. Now today we're working with tire size 245 60 R18. If these tire chains are too small or too big for your tires recheck your tire size and refer to our fit guide to get the right fit. more

Titan Chain Cable Tire Chains Review - 2016 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be test fitting the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number TC2029. This has a ladder pattern style design, which is going to make it more effective for starts and stops. It also has these cable rollers on the top here, which makes a nice and low profile, but also makes it effective for getting traction in light snow. These are SAE Class S chains that are designed for vehicles with restricted wheel clearance and has a reusable storage bag that also is included. The maximum speed rating recommended is 30 mph, and this comes with a quantity of 2 chains. Now, today we're working with tire size 245/60/R18. Now, if these chains are too big or too small for your tire, you might want to recheck the size, go to our fit guide and get the right chains. Now, before I actually install the chains, I went ahead and laid them out on the ground to make sure there's no kinks or anything like that in our lines. Also, you want to make sure that this lever here is going to be facing on the outside of the tire and that these hooks here, you see where it pinches around, are also facing on the outside. Now, we'll go ahead and put the chains in place. more

Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains Review - 2016 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Highlander, we'll be doing a test fit on the Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains, Part Number PWH3810SC and that's tire size 24560R18. These Glacier tire chains, feature a twist link with V-Bar studs, to give you that extra grip you need for the snow and ice. The ladder pattern is effective during starts and stops, and the cam tensioners, with the included tool, make insulation easy. They're going to provide superior traction. They come in a quantity of two. Let's go ahead and show you how to install them. Now we're going to be putting the chains on the front tires of our Toyota Highlander here today. It is all wheel drive, but it is mostly driven by the front axle. I've gone ahead and laid my chain out. It's a good idea to make sure there's no kinks or any twists in it. Now a good way to tell if you've got it laid out correctly, is the little V-Bars here, are going to be facing away from the tire, so face up. more
