They're gonna have these big buttons on 'em, which you can just press with your palm and they open right up, which is great if you have those thicker gloves or mittens on. And now to access my ski, I'm actually going to step inside my vehicle 'cause that is a far reach. Just keep in mind if it's snowy outside, be careful because you could slip and fall. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Grip Ski and Snowboard Carrier and seeing how it fits on top of our 2015 Toyota Tacoma with the factory roof rack. Now if you've got an aftermarket roof rack that's totally fine. If anything, it'll probably be more accommodating to a wider variety of skis and snowboards just because the crossbar spread's gonna be a little bit closer together and you won't be as limited with the length just because having the two carriers closer together means that shorter gear is gonna be okay. So if you've got kiddos coming with you then their stuff's gonna be able to fit. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima FreshTrack ski and snowboard carrier for your roof, and seeing how it fits on top of our 2015 Toyota Tacoma. Now, if you're looking to carry skis and snowboards, maybe some fishing rods in the summer, this is a great way to do it and one of my personal favorites. Of course, you have a truck with a truck bed, so there's a lot of space there, but there's nothing to really secure this stuff down and keep it from moving around. So having a roof mounted carrier is going to keep it well gripped so it's not sliding around freely. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima Fresh Track Ski and Snowboard Carrier on our 2022 Toyota Rav Four. This is the four ski, two board version, but there's also a six ski, four board version available as well and it doubles as a fishing rod holder in the warmer weather months. So if you're looking to get longer pairs of skis or snowboards where you can need them to go you don't want to keep the wet skis and snowboards in the car or you just don't have room for them, a ski and snowboard carrier like this one from Yakima might be a good option for you. It's just gonna hold your boards or skis in place with these rubberized moldings through these jaws of the actual carrier. On the front here you can see there are very large buttons that you can push, even if you have larger gloves or mittens on in the winter, then you can still get it open again. more

Hey, this is Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima Fresh Track Ski and Snowboard Carrier and how it fits on our 2017 Toyota Rav4. This carrier is capable of holding up to four pairs of skis or two snowboards. So, it's just gonna be a good way to get some of these bigger ski and snowboards that you might not be able to fit, or not want to keep in your car, 'cause they get icy and snowy, up on top of your roof and keep them stable and secure while you're driving. Taking a closer look at the carrier, you can see that there are some pretty large buttons on the outside, so if you do have big gloves on, or mittens when you're actually out in the snow you're gonna be able to get those up with no problem. Additionally, you can see that the molding on the inside is rubberized, so it's soft and it won't damage your actual gear while you're driving. more

It's gonna be a great way to get some larger items, you might not wanna keep in the trunk or they might not fit to where you need them to go, especially ski and snowboard carriers and these specifically do double fishing rod carriers in the warmer seasons as well. A nice feature that this carrier offers is the ability to push these buttons. Ski and snowboard carrier like this is just a great way to get some of those larger items that are gonna be maybe a little bit wet from the snow and ice, out of the hatch or the interior of the vehicle and on top. This is gonna be the long one, the dual version, right here on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. This dual design allows you to carry your skis and snowboards and then access them on both sides of your vehicle. You could also get a single carrier and then just put them on each side, but then a downside to that would then those are separate things you have to mount and dismount. Inno Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius v INA952- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at our Inno Gravity Ski and Snowboard Carrier, right here on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. So this is going to be a very small and compact snowboard carrier. One of the smallest in fact that I've seen here at etrailer, so if you're only planning on carrying your own skis or your own snowboards along with a friend, this'll be perfectly fine, but let's take a look at some measurements just to see if you're gonna have the right fit. The first thing I wanna take a look at is how much space does it take up on our crossbar system, So measuring from the end of one clamp, to the end of the other, it sits at about 15 and a half inches. Notice how I have this clamped around our overhang, that's to bring the carrier out further towards the end of our Prius V, making it easier to take off our seasoned still boards and this frees up so much more room towards the side for our other gear. Now lets talk about security, so we have two lock cores right here, and you get two keys as well, either key access, accesses, these skis and the snowboards, and then you are not unable to loosen these clamps, unless this is unlocked and open. more

Whispbar Roof Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2013 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma we're going to be test fitting the Whispbar Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, with a six ski or four board capacity, in silver. Its part number is WB-300. With our Yakima Q-Towers Roof Rack System already installed on the Tacoma, we're going to begin our test fit by placing the front half of our carrier onto the front load bar. We'll bring the black rubber coated straps around the underside of our load bar and fit the black buckle into the appropriate slot on the foot of the carrier. Then open the top jaw of the carrier, lift up on the black lever, this will release the small gray catch that'll hold the buckle down, tighten up lever, and push it down. We'll now repeat that same tightening process for the other side of the front of our carrier. With the front half of our carrier secure, we'll close the top jaw, grab the rear half, place it onto our rear load bar. more

With the Yakima Q towers roof rack system already installed on our Camry, we'll begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier and placing it onto our front load bar. We'll bring the black rubber coated metal strip around the underside of our load bar, fit it into the foot of the carrier. We'll then press the large black button located here at the end, to open our top jaw. With our jaw open, we'll reach in with the black lever located on this side. Today in our 2014 Toyota Camry we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6, a locking root top ski and snowboard carrier with a six ski or four board capacity. Part number Y03088. With the Yakima Q-Towers Roof Rack System already installed on the Camry, we'll begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier, placing it onto our front load bar. We'll bring the black rubber-coated metal strap around the underside of our load bar, fit it into the foot of our carrier. We'll reach in and lift the small black lever located inside of here. This will release the small gray catch allowing us to cam our black buckle closed. We'll then tighten that black lever down slightly and push it into its down position to secure the gray catch over our buckle. With this side tight, we'll now make our way around to the driver's side. more

Today on our 2011 Toyota Rav 4, we'll be test fitting the Whisp Bar Locking Roof Top Ski and Snow Board Carrier with a six ski or four board capacity, part number WB-300. With the factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin by placing half of our carrier onto the front bar. We'll bring the rubber coated strap around the front bar, placing it back into the foot of the carrier. We'll clamp it down and push the over sized button on the end of our carrier to open our jaw. We'll flip up the thumb tab, tighten it, and then push it back down to finish securing this side of our carrier. We'll grab the other half of our carrier and place it onto our rear bar. It's important that we line it up with the front half, that way our gear travels nicely. Once we have it in place, we can repeat the same tightening process that we used at the front. With our jaws open, we'll grab our snow board, place it into the carrier, followed by our skis, and then shut our jaws firmly over our gear. more
