Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander- Video

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander

Today on our 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander we'll be test fitting the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System using load bars 53 inches in length, part number tharb53 and the Thule Rapid Crossroad Roof Mounted Railing Foot Pack, part number th450r. We went ahead and pre-assembled the foot pack to our load bars. Now we're ready to go ahead and place the first half of our roof rack on top of our side rails. Once we have the foot packs set on top of our side rails we'll go ahead and bring the rubber coated steel strap underneath each side rail. To make sure that we have the foot pack in the right location there's an arrow indicator on the foot pack that should be lined up with the center of our side rail. Now we want to make sure that the overhang on each side of our vehicle is identical. What Ill do is Ill measure to make sure that I have the same overhang on both the driver side and the passenger side of the Outlander. One of the things that we need to make sure is that these bars according to Thule's instructions need to be a minimum of 24 inches apart. more
