The Yakima JetStream are aluminum heavy-duty crossbars. These guys are gonna hold up to 165 pounds. However, you definitely wanna make sure you check your vehicle for what the weight rating is for your roof. These guys have a channel on the inside here that allows you to use T-tracks. That's 3/8 inch wide. more

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars Roof Rack Kit Installation - 2020 Jeep Cherokee- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Bars on our 2020 Jeep Cherokee. When you get your Rhino-Rack kit for your Cherokee, it's gonna have two bars and four feet. Since you have the raised rails from Jeep, these guys are just basically gonna clamp around them using a cushioned pad and you just tighten down a bolt to fasten it. Looking at the bars themselves, these guys are about three inches wide, about an inch tall. And on my demonstration model, you see a channel at the top that's three eighths inches for a T slot. And you're also going to have a rubber gasket that fits in there to help reduce the wind noise as well as a rubber spacer at the bottom of the bar. more

And you have a T track channel on the top. Something that's a little bit different about Malone, a lot of the other brands, you actually have lockable end caps. In this case you just remove it with a simple clip, but this is also how you would access your T track. more

Hey, if your Jeep Cherokee has the raised rails on it and you wanna utilize the space up here, then take a look at Rhino-Rack's Roof Rack, this is going on our 2020 Jeep Cherokee. So let's take a closer look at the roof racks here. First things, right off the bat, there's some nice aerodynamic shape, these are gonna be pretty quiet up on top of your Jeep here. You have an anti-theft key that comes with it, and this endcap will remove, that's how you install them and uninstall them. Also, if you have T-track accessories, these are already outfitted, ready and waiting for those accessories, this rubber rail up on top, you would just cut that to fit your particular accessory. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the CURT Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails, here on a 2021 Jeep Cherokee. So for starters, this roof rack system here is gonna be designed specifically for models with the raised side rails. Therefore, you do need to check your Jeep ahead of time before ordering, to see what roof configuration you have, because there are two options. Models with the raised side rails, which is what we have here, and models with a bare roof. If you have a bare roof, that's totally fine. There is still roof rack options for you, but this one won't be the right choice. more

Thule Squarebar Crossbars Installation - 2019 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Colin: Hey guys, it's Colin here at etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. We're going to do a test fit of the Thule SquareBar Roof Rack System. This is a roof rack system that will mount to the raised side rails of your Cherokee, that's going to allow you to get your favorite rooftop accessories loaded up, whether you got a bike rack, a kayak carrier, or even a cargo box.Up top we have our 47 inch long square bar crossbars from Thule, now these are a bit of an upgrade from their old square bar setup, being that we have a channel on the bottom side of our square bar. So our Evo Raised Rail Feet can slide right into that channel, and it doesn't take up any type of space on top of our crossbar. Now, we have very little cross bar overhang with this setup, so if you do want that extra two to three inches on each side, you can upgrade to the 53 inch crossbars, those are available here at etrailer.We also have our Evo Raised Rail Feet that's holding our crossbars to our raised side rails. more

Speaker 1: Today, in this 2019 Jeep Cherokee, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack System with Aero Crossbars, part number MPG215.Here's what a roof rack looks like installed. Now, the reason you're gonna want a roof rack for you Cherokee is that it will allow you to bring a lot more of your gear and cargo with you, be it from bike racks to cargo boxes, to water sports carriers, it doesn't matter, anything that they make that can go on a roof rack will fit on this.Now, one thing that I really love about this is that it's already preassembled and ready to go out of the box. We don't have to worry about getting any special adapters to go over our factory-raised rails or have to worry about assembling anything, no special feat, kit, or anything like that. We just throw it on top of the roof, make a few measurements, and tighten it on down, and we're good to go.Now, the great thing about it, being that it's aluminum, it's super lightweight so that makes it easy for us to manipulate it and get it over the roof, and don't have to worry about it coming in contact with the roof and potentially scratching the paint. We do have locking cores on each corner of our rack. Also, the tool to tighten it down is stored inside. more

Now these crossbars are also available in silver with part number: Y00428.The Yakima Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories on your roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers, kayak carriers or cargo baskets. The Aerodynamic shape of our bar, as well as the weatherstrip on the inside, are going to help to reduce wind, noise, and drag.If we remove our end cap on our crossbar, on the inside we can see our weatherstrip. This can easily be pushed down, and we can add in channel-mounted accessories. Unlike with other roof racks, we will have to remove that weatherstrip. more

The Rhino-Rack stealth bar roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your Jeep Cherokee. You can carry items such as cargo boxes, cargo baskets, or ski and snowboard carriers. Aesthetically, this is a very nice-looking roof rack. It has a factory style look to it once it's installed and it sits very low profile on your vehicle, so issues such as height when you have your items on top of your roof isn't as much of an issue when you're pulling back into your garage.The bars themselves are elliptical shaped, so that's gonna cut down wind noise and drag as you drive as well, although there may be some noise while you drive. more

This is a very simple roof rack system to install. The towers here simply wrap around your existing factory raised side rails providing padding where it will make contact so it won't scratch them up or anything like that, and they tighten down and they're ready to go. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at the Malone AirFlow Two Roof Rack System with 50 inch aluminum arrow cross bars, part number MPG215. Now, it's also available with 58 inch aluminum arrow cross bars using part number MPG216.Our AirFlow Two Roof Rack System is going to be a great option to get any of that gear, whether it be dirty, wet camping gear, possibly a bike, out of the inside of our car and making more room for passengers and pets. One of the nicest things about or AirFlow Two is that it's going to be a complete system and it's going to be super fast to get installed. Simply just going to wrap around our raised side rails and tighten a clamp, and it'll be on in minutes.Now, I know a lot of you are going to be wondering how loud it's going to be going down the road. Well, the aerodynamic shape of our bars are going to cut down on a lot of that wind noise and drag, so it is going to be a pretty quiet roof rack. Now, one thing Malone did do as well, is they provided you with some metal lock cores already in there, so we're not going to have to purchase anything extra. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Jeep Cherokee, we're gonna be test-fitting the Thule aeroblade edge roof rack system consisting of part numbers TH7501-TH7502, and these are the aeroblade edge roof racks for the factory rate side rails. These also come in black as TH7501B-TH7502B. The Thule aeroblade edge is a great roof rack for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space in your vehicle and it has a nice factory roof look to it. It can carry bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, ski and snowboard carriers, and with the rubber strip on the top combined with the aerodynamic shape of the bar, will cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving.The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, though you always should double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Once you remove your end caps, you can see that it is available to be used with T track accessories. Putting that back into place, it also has the knockouts to replace it with the Thule lock core system so you can actually have key to like locks with both your roof rack as well as your rooftop accessories.Now that we've gone over some of the features of the roof rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. more

Rola Sport Series Roof Rack Review - 2017 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee, you're gonna be taking a look at the Rola Sports Series Roof Rack with REX mounting systems for flush factory side rails in silver. Part number 59682.Our Rola Roof Rack is gonna mount to our factory side rails and it's gonna allow us to mount a wide variety of accessories, maximizing our cargo-carrying capacity.Now, we all know that roof rack systems can cause a little bit of noise when we're driving. But that's where the elliptical shape of our crossbars is gonna come into play. It's not only gonna reduce wind noise and drag, but it's also gonna give us a low profile design.The rubber strip up here is not only gonna give us a nice contact point for our gear to mount up to, but also, we put the included key and remove the end cap, we can remove the weather stripping and expose the T-track to put in any T-track accessories that we'd like.Our crossbars are gonna be made of an aluminum construction, which means it's gonna be nice and easy to lift up and get them in place and they're also gonna be anodized, so they're not only gonna look good for a long time, but they're also gonna be rust-proof.The crossbars themselves are gonna be 3 1/8" wide by 1" tall. Now, the overhang from our factory side rail here is gonna be roughly about 4 1/2". With that, we're gonna have plenty of room to mount plenty of accessories, but we're also not gonna have to worry about hitting our head when we're getting in and out of our Jeep.Our crossbars are gonna have a minimum of 27 1/2" of spread that they're gonna need to be mounted. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Thule Complete Cross Road Kit with 58" long bars and locks, part number TH45058. So here's what our Cross Road Roof Rack looks like when it's fully installed. This is going to free up a lot of space on the inside of our car, allowing us to mount it to the roof and making more room for passengers and pets.Now our system is designed to mount directly to your factory side rails and instillation is going to be super easy, because it's already pre-assembled so we're not going to have to put it together. One of the features you're really going to appreciate is the rubber coating that's going to be on the bottom of our foot pack. It's going to keep it not only secure, but it's going to prevent any kind of scratches or abrasions on our side rail, as well as this strap that's going to wrap around and keep our roof rack secure to our side rails. It's a rubber coated steel strap, so not only is it going to grip well and keep it from scratching our side rails, but it's also going to last a long time.Now our bars are going to be 58" long, which means we're going to have plenty of room to mount several different kinds of accessories, like bike racks, kayak carriers, or even a cargo box. more
