Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Cadillac SRX- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Cadillac SRX, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Malone AirFlow Two Roof Rack System, part number MPG216.Our Malone Roof Rack System is going to free up a lot of space in our vehicle, allowing us to mount all of our gear on top of our car freeing up space inside for passengers and pets. It's going to allow us to mount a bike rack, cargo basket or even a lot of larger equipment like a kayak carrier. The elliptical shape of the bars is going to cut down on a lot of that wind noise and drag that's commonly associated with roof rack systems.The bars themselves are going to have an aluminum construction, so they're going to be nice and strong as well as rustproof. It's going to have a weather stripping on the bottom that we're going to need to cut to length. That's also going to help cut down on that wind noise when we're driving down the road, as well as having a nice rubber strip on top that's going to give it a nice secure grip whenever we mount our accessories.Now, unlike a lot of roof rack systems, the end caps are going to be hinged, so we can actually mount all of our favorite T-track accessories without having to remove the end cap. In some cases, we'll be able to just push down on that rubber strip and slide in our T-track accessory.Now, the feet are going to feature a nice rubber surround, so we're not going to have to worry about any scratches or abrasions on our factory rails, as well as having a locking core. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2011 Cadillac SRX- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Cadillac SRX we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Kit. This is going to consist of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars, part number RRVA118B-2, and the Rhino-Rack SX Series Legs for the Vortex Aero Crossbars, part number RRSX001. Now these cross bars are also available in silver with part number RRVA118S-2.The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Kit is an aerodynamic roof rack system that allows you to free up space inside your vehicle by carrying your roof mounted accessories on your vehicle's raised rails. This is going to include bike racks, cargo boxes, cargo baskets, and ski and snowboard carriers. The end caps on our crossbars are lockable, and come with a key to lock those up. Now this is a plastic core, you can find metal lock cores available on our website with part number RRBA-LEC4 to change those to the metal lock cores.If we remove our end cap you can see the weather strip on the inside. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2011 Cadillac SRX- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Cadillac SRX, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Thule roof rack system. This is going to consist of the Thule Aeroblade crossbars, part number THARB53, and the Thule Rapid Crossroad foot pack, part number TH450R. The crossbars are also available in black with part number THARB53B. The Thule roof rack system is an aerodynamic roof rack system that allows you to carry your vehicle accessories on your roof. This is going to be anything from bike rack, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, and ski and snowboard carriers. It's also going to empty up space inside your vehicle so you can carry more gear. more

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2004 Cadillac SRX- Video
Alright today on this Cadillac SRX were going to do a test fit of a Thule Roof Rack system using the Thule Rapid Crossroad foot pack and Thule AeroBlades. The Cadillac does have a factory roof rack, so lets go ahead and attach it to it. We will go ahead and take our first load bar and set it into place. Okay now we are just going to use a generic measurement here to place our bars. Now you definitely want to check with your roof rack manufacturer to determine how much weight you could put on top of the vehicle. And also you want to check with the accessories that you will put on top of the AeroBlades as well for distance and measurements that you will need. more
