Cargo carrier's a good idea to expand on the storage space on the inside of your Crosstrek. Maybe you've run outta room, you don't necessarily want a rooftop box up there. This is gonna be a lot easier to manage because it is aluminum, so it's gonna be lightweight. You can easily take it out, store it in the garage, or put it in here when you're ready to use it. more

A car carrier's a great idea to expand on the storage in your Crosstrek so you can, if you fill it up with stuff, and you need just a little bit more room, maybe you don't wanna mess with a rooftop box, you can get a cargo carrier and load that up. Or if you wanna move some stuff from the inside to out here, making more leg room for everybody, that's helpful too. That's gonna make everybody far happier going down the road. Now, you can also do muddy or sweaty gear if you don't want to mess inside the Crosstrek. more

Curt 17x46 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Subaru Crosstrek- Video
Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier on a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. This carrier is gonna be a great way to free up extra space in your vehicle for more passengers, pets, or more gear. Couple things I prefer about a hitch mounted cargo carrier vs a roof mounted one, is you can have more space for your kayaks or anything like that, fishing poles. It is an inch and a quarter, it also comes with an adapter to fit your two inch hitches. On the inch and a quarter, your weight capacity is gonna be 300 pounds and on the 200, or on the two inch hitch, it's gonna be 500 pounds. Just make sure you don't exceed the capacity of your hitch, your vehicle, or the cargo basket. more
