How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and right now, we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier, on the back of our 21 Nissan Murano. 60 inches wide, 22 inches long, constructed of aluminum, giving you real solid contact tie-down points on the top and sides of your carrier. One thing to consider for this guy is that it will obstruct your taillights. Well, not your taillights, it'll obstruct your backup sensors and you're gonna see a portion of it in your backup camera. But that is a good thing 'cause it gives you a good idea as far as where your cargo carrier is in relation to the rear of your vehicle. That completes our test fit of the 23 by 56 Rola Dart Cargo Carrier, Part Number 59550 on our2013 Nissan Murano. To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up the pinhole and then thread in our anti-rattle bolt tightening it with a wrench.Now, well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements while the cargo carrier is in the folded position. In this position, we have about 11-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is about 4-1/2 inches.Now, well go ahead and pull the handle at the top of the cargo carrier to allow our carrier to tilt. In this position, we have a ground clearance here at the rear of the carrier of about 15 inches. Weve added about 38 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Murano well be test fitting the Surco 24x60 cargo carrier. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of our carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pinhole and install our pin and clip. Now well go over some clearance measurements. Here at the rear of the carrier we have a ground clearance of about 11 inches. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of the vehicle is about three inches. Weve added about 28 and a half inches to the overall length of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Murano well be test fitting the Max Tow 22.5x49 cargo carrier part #: MT70108. To begin our test fit well simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pinholes and secure it with the pin and clip. Now that our Max Tow cargo carrier is secured to our Nissan Murano well go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. We have about 10 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about seven inches and weve added about 29 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with dual exhaust which point directly in line to the cargo carrier. more

Now that our Max Tow 19x52 cargo carrier is secured to our Nissan Murano well go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. We have about 11 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about six inches and weve added about 26 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with dual exhaust which point directly in line to the cargo carrier, about nine inches away. more

Curt Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Nissan Murano

Today on our 2013 Nissan Murano we'll be test fitting the 24x60 fold-down cargo carrier from Curt for two-inch hitches rated at 500 pounds, part number C18132. Now, to begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, insert the pin through the pin holes and secure the clip on the other side. Now that our Curt cargo carrier is secured to our Nissan Murano, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. With the cargo carrier folded up, we have about 11 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about one and a half inches. Notes, now with the cargo carrier folded up, there is a minimal amount of space between the first part of the cargo carrier and the bumper. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Murano, we'll be test fitting the Curt 20" x 48" cargo carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number C18145. To begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and tighten with a wrench. Now with our Curt 20" x 48" cargo carrier secured to our Nissan Murano, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. We have about 12" of ground clearance. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 5". And we've added an additional 24" to the overall length of the vehicle. more
