Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System Installation - 2020 Ford Explorer

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima EXO system on our 2020 Ford Explorer. The EXO system is a modular system that allows you to customize how it's set up. With this particular configuration, we have the gear locker and the SkinnyWarrior with the top shelf attachment, but you can configure it with a lot of different accessories. And what that means for you with your Explorer, it's gonna allow you to increase your cargo area to get those bigger, bulkier things out for your adventure. As you can see, this is a pretty massive setup, but the benefit of that, it gives you a lot of flexibility. So with your SkinnyWarrior basket at the bottom, it also is an attachment that allow you to use it as a cart, and it's gonna give you 110 pounds of capacity to stow away. more

etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Ford Explorer

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. today, we're going to be taking a look the etrailer.com Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2018 Ford Explorer. Many Explorer owners tend to use a lot of accessories and that is definitely understandable. These are great family and work SUV, but because of that, they tend to fill up with stuff pretty quickly on the inside, especially when you're on a vacation or something like that. And that's where the cargo carrier's really going to come in handy. It's going to help you get that stuff from the inside, out here, freeing up a lot more space for your passengers, or maybe even pets. And what's really great about this setup is if you do plan on towing a trailer or using another accessory like a bike rack, the fact that this is made out of aluminum makes it really easy to take out or put into your hitch. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ford Explorer, we're going to be doing a test fit on the roll in, swinging, and closed cargo carrier for closed hitches. Part #59109.I've already got the roll in closed cargo carrier installed on my Explorer, as you can see. The first thing that I'd like to point out, is that it does not extend past beyond the width of our Explorer. Also, even though our carrier has included tail lights, we also have full visibility or our Explorer's tail lights.Another thing you'll enjoy, is that it doesn't block our rear view window. It is, however, going to block your backup camera. One of my favorite features is, it has the ability to swing out, so we can gain access to our rear hatch. more
